guy is speculating and admits at the end that he doesnt know how sub tick works. He also admits it works better than standard 64 tick on CSGO. So CS2 is > CSGO 64 tick. Sounds good enough to me and not worth the drama

as long as there isnt a paid version of MM faceit will always exist. just having a monetary barrier to entry makes it so ppl are less toxic and more competitively inclined. and those who are toxic have more to lose + paid mods/admins can make sure bad actors get banned/kicked or whatever. faceit aint perfect but for those who want to play the best there is its always gonna be the best option.

no matter how good MM is unless there is a paywall it will never be as good as what faceit currently is. faceit may lose some market share, but if the game grows from MM being good and more players coming in and those who want to become pro/semi-pro faceit will probably just get a larger number of paid players even if they lose % of csgo mm servers market share. Now if csgo literally makes a faceit competitor baked into the client with like a 1-5$ monthly fee with a new ladder system then it will really hurt faceit. and maybe like 128tick finally which they refuse to do for some reason.

well there arent many games like cs with faceit to make a comparison but every other big competitive game pro players seem to be more or less content with matchmaking. I know nothing about dota, but doesnt everybody just use matchmaking in that game? CS probably has the worst ranking system out of any big game, I think i remember seeing it counting bomb plants/defusals and MVPS playing a significant part in the formula. Incredibly out of touch system. Most people who use faceit are paying for the better elo system and anticheat and the other factors that cause players to act differently are just a result of having to pay. Plus people paying would make people more toxic if anything, feeling like they are wasting money when they get a bad teammate. And yea they honestly should just use 128tick, the ammount it would cost for them is so insanely insignificant. Excuse of bad pcs would make no sense because they are porting to source 2, even then that was an excuse back in 2012.

anti-cheat will never get better unless you become like Riot/faceit where you are very overreaching with how much access to your pc the anti cheat has which I dont like. I mean if they pay Valve should hire real admins and mods to review the toxicity and ban those ppl. idk about dota, but in Riot Games it has been a huge issue where there are no other alternatives to the native mm which is a problem in its own right.

I hope Valve starts replacing FaceIt with different levels of Matchmaking for example Matchmaking for New people's which is easy difficulty and then matchmaking for quite experienced players which is hard difficulity and then the really hard difficulity for pro's so you have to essentially get 3x Global and also for the god sake add rankings for MM players (for each difficulity) I kinda have enough of monopolies that require you to pay atleast 5$ dollars to get some decent teammates and no toxic ppl, but you still end up getting toxic ppl

Easy Global would be really easy though at this point. You can think of it as progression it would change the way probably the rank would be prob Easy Global be at dif of today MG and Medium probably the LEM at most Global would be Global + 1 prob
