Under no circumstances should they let YEKINDAR IGL. siuhy is probably too inexperienced to "repair" this team. So maybe nexa? I don't think he's an amazing IGL, but definitely better than Yeki. Also, TL should probably reevaluate Yeki's role in the team.

I agree with you. I like Elige, but I think he needs a fresh start with a new team and Liquid needs to move on without him.

been supporting them since '16 through highs and lows )won't lie - except for the taco+fallen period because im not into pure clownery), but rn i'm too fed up with elige personally. its just not competitive in 2023 with him in the roster idek what is his problem with being SO nervous 24/7 even when team is up like 8-0, always biting nails, and that '50cm to monitor' posture

I wasn't a fan during that time, but I've been a fan since Stewie2K joined. Unfortunately for Elige, he seems to tilt very easily almost as if he shuts down completely when they start losing rounds. I think that has created a toxic culture and is why I don't believe Liquid will ever win a major with him. Change is necessary.

yeah but my point is that being (at least ‘looking’) tilted even when winning is some next level stuff it’s actually so saddening because i watched his demos more than any other player’s and tried to replicate stuff he does in mm/faceit

Best move rn may not be to sign an EU rifler or IGL. Why not get back a familiar voice and a 2nd caller. I think stewie will elevate the team ONLY if he is willing to grind. Look at the team rn, only yekindar seems to be putting in effort to grind out plays. I think stewie is a really decent mid round caller. If he is willing to put attitude and ego aside, he should be able to fit really well, set osee up for success and good awp picks with his experience and read for the game. Anchoring with NAF was also another big part of liquids previous success. I can see them getting to top 3 again. Still i dont believe elige will ever reach his peak again so maybe by then replacing elige could be a solution, keeping 3 NA core plus then signing a rifler would solve it.
