Every streamer i've ever watched do an age polls find out 35% of their viewers are 65+

Or how about when tarik did an anonymous poll to find out his chats valorant ranks and 86% were radiant. Which literally is impossible because there arent that many radiants

People that post alot is younger vocal minority. Majority of HLTV userbase actually older than what everyone saying in comments above.

The average age might be high but the intelligence is far less. And the ratio of stupid idiots to smart people is raising at velocity since people get older but not smarter.

But wouldn't you agree that the IQ of people is in decline and people get older so the IQ/people is a function that is also in a steep decline too? Like the average age is not a good metric, but the average IQ is, and it's falling downwards rapidly? I don't do web forums, but this site is a good example of how stupid shit gets over time.

Globally it's 100 exactly. But for a western nation like Finland the average is above 100. You're however right about IQ and ingelligence.

The increase in IQ maybe happening but I don't see it here. There's too much idocracy on HLTV.
Only relatively to you, you got older and maybe got smarter. Overall age has to increase. Yes, new kids keep coming here, but there were no 30-40 year olds who have played the game when they were young. Also using forums is not exactly the most trendy youth thing for 20's in general. Overall stupidity level is more or less constant. It's logical to assume it decreased a bit because of more mature auditory, but I'm not as sure here as about the age.
Most people on HLTV are normal functioning guys who study/work/game. 18-25yo mostly I guess.
But vocal minority(14-17yo bettors from 3rd world) will spam so much people will get the impression thats all HLTV is

its funny cause i started watching esports when i was 12.... and using hltv when i was 14... (btw this is not my first account)
not all kids play fortnite and watch tiktoks . im 16 and i played fortnite for like few months in 2020 because of covid and thats it while i never used tiktok .
almost nobody in high school plays fortnite and makes tiktoks i feel like only grades 4-8 do that
