dosnt seem like someone who would be good coach. Absolutely only my gut feeling so might be totally of here. He could get some psychology degree and became some mental coach. So many offers would come flying to his way with his experience.

Obviously its his choice, but it would be cool career choice. Streaming and studying at the same time for 3 years would not be that bad tbh. Many students would love to have that opportunity and not to work in some shitty mcdonalds part time.

cs is not profitable when you have the biggest names of yesteryear like KennyS, GuardiaN, allu, friberg, etc. even though they do have large fanbases, those fans don’t actually financially aid the bottom end.

The issue you have is you think esports fans spend money lol. There are only a few personalities in the game that can attract income proportional to their salary and f0rest would not have that pull. You need someone to be the face of a big region to monetise it like how Fallen is the face of BR cs. You could probably make money off him. With forest it’s different.
There are so many popular Scandinavian talents that and such a relatively small population to draw on, and so Scandinavian fans won’t spend enough money to make it worth hiring him. If he was someone like Fallen it will be different, or if he was still like a tier 2 player, but he’s just not got it any more.

F0rest is old and has played t1 outside of dignitas most of his life, I would imagine these teams thinking he would have a hard time committing to that life and would bounce if a better offer came in, not to mention his stint on dignitas he didn't care about winning, let's be honest himself thinking win trophies with dignitas was hilarious, we all know he wanted to just chill with his friends and collect a paycheck. Now that DIG has dropped him and his friends forcing them to retire, now he's looking for a real team again, so its understandable that no t2 teams even want him, he has questionable commitment. Him leaving t1 to play in t3 was one of the worst career moves in csgo history because he left on his own terms.

Ah common f0rest was the best player on DIG, they fail on RMR because everybody sucks, 4 clutchs vs VP on the same map and they manage to loose, and even the EF game when they have bugged c4 lost the round and asked replay.

I can only see him being signed by a tier 2-3 full Swedish team and there ain't many options assuming he wants to play for a legit organization with a decent salary and not some random stack.
He's not a tier 1 material anymore, at best he's currently capable of being in a support/mentor role in tier 2, and that's being generous.
He's still good enough for tier 1 i bet, the problem he may have is that he may not accept what his role in that tier 1 team would be.
He cannot be a star anymore, in fact, if he doesn't want to igl, he'd have to be a support or entry fragger.
And above all, he must set his economical expectations straight.
Luka Modric is a crack, and he still accepted to get his salary cut under 10m net in 2021 to 2022, f0rest cannot expect to be paid as much as a Brollan or a Nawwk , and that is really hard for people like this, nawwk and brollan will never be even 1% the legend f0rest is, specially in Swedish CS, but if he TRULY means to compete in tier 1, and the competition and being in the scene is what drives him, he needs to accept that he's not gonna be getting star stats and he's going to be okay with getting paid a tier 2 salary, even on a tier 1 team, he will have to accept being the lowest salaried player on his team.
Come on, does anyone here think that if NiP could get f0rest for free and just pay him 7K per month to make an all-swedish team they wouldn't do it? stop it.

dupreeh would be an exception- dude is built different. karrigan, Snappi are IGLs who thrive on experience and don't need to focus on fragging.

you know what's really sad about this? is that he WANTS to play.
People can say whatever they want about his age, to move on, that he peaked long ago and stuff, but that doesn't take away that he wants to play and there's nothing wrong with that. That's what he desires.
He even says "i don't know how long we can keep that door open". He's conscious that he's in a difficult spot but even then, he keeps the door open.
But yeah, at this point no team wants to take the risk of signing someone in his position.

He has said he dont want to join a t2 team, but sadly that is his only option for now. But I think he should just try to get a job as an interviewer or something. Coaching isnt his deal i believe, he never was that guy who overthinks stuff he just believed in his mechanics.
I mean why get f0rest for a presumably large salary when you can get a player half his age with less money?

ofc if you started watching CSGO yesterday you can think that, if you watch CS for more than a year you must know f0rest carried NiP since 2016 (his best year imho) to 2019 when he left, he was the most consistent player in the team

He's still very competent. Not tier 1 anymore, but could do decent in tier 2-3.
The problem is that he's a legend and these teams can't pay him enough.
They could always sign better players much cheaper.
it must be that he doesnt get the offers that he wants. too low salary, too bad teams or something must be the reason. im thinking if players like isak, keoz, hooxi (igl but still) etc can play in major finals and big event finals and put up 0.8 rating, why would no team gamble on f0rest? huge name and atleast has proven before that he can be good. is it really cuz of his age? he played bad as a stand in for fnatic sure but that fnatic team seemed dead and they lost all maps, not a lot u can expect then tbh. f0rest is obv not gonna be a main star but i feel like he could be a solid entry or transition into a support with his experience.

Orgs think to buy young players (IGLs are an expection) just to resell them and often they buy young but worse players than older players like f0rest. MOUZ did it with JDC and Bymas for example.
