I am guessing he wasn't aware of the breach but idk exactly. Anyways, at that time there was one specific user that had access to the list of leaked accounts and would constantly break into them and get them banned or troll with them. Pimp's account was just one of many that were taken in the span of a few months

he has a record of being extremely obnoxious, self-centered, holier than thou and imo he's just an incredibly bad caster, his accent is like knives in my ears and we literally share the same country of birth, literally don't know a single person that speaks english like him idk wtf he's doing, his commentary in danish is somehow a little more bearable but idk he has this know-it-all attitude a lot which just makes him hella annoying

i think it's a common reaction/occurrence from insecure people who at some point can't bear their own existence anymore and then, one day, just turn around 180° and become the most egocentric and arrogant person on earth, like ... yeah, to get out of the self-hating pit of insecurity (which many kids share btw, he's not alone in this), you gotta build up some confidence and self-love, but some of them don't know the right dose of it and just go completely overboard with self-confidence, which then turns into egocentrism, arrogance and pure toxicity

yeah i have a similar thing with some of the NA casters/analysts as well. dont really know .. maybe its exactly the polarity that they bring? like if they get a controversal figure up there, more people talk about them and the organizer maybe .. But maybe it's just the "Vitamine C", where people still get jobs due to connections and their relations. Like, pimp pretty much only gets hired for Blast events since they're a danish oranizer, likewise more NA people get hired by NA organizers etc.
I also just turn off or mute when he's on the analyst desk, because even for his experience, he just pretty much talks so much shit and often has no idea about a team, also repeating himself often etc. The bias can also often be seen pretty blatantly, which is actually my biggest critique of all casters. Scrawnly and Launders are biased for NA teams, Pimp and Anders biased for danish teams, Harry SUPER biased for Faze and Vitality (Hugo is rather neutral which i like), etc

yeah I agree 100% and i think ur right about the vitamin C, personally I like Anders a LOT more, not just cause he's a lovable wholesome guy but his commentary is actually very good and he knows his shit, sure he has a bit of an accent as well but it's not as terrible as Pimps
tbh I used to dislike Maniac a lot cause in the late part of his playing career he was the biggest anchor for Titan, just a complete fucking bot, but as an analyst and expert I actually kinda like his inputs.
I think in general my all time favorite casters are black ddk, Anders probably, Hugo, maybe moses as well - these guys have voices u don't mind listening to for a full bo3 + they actually give good insight and information about the game as it's playing

In fairness, the man is training for an iron man. Anyone would be proud of themselves making that large of a change in their life so I think he’s more than justified posting stuff like that.

The only reason a failed csgo semi-pro gets hired as an analyst for events is his "motivational" weight loss background and louda delusional twitter/twitch fanbase. No one enjoys listening to him talk and no one really cares about his weight loss thing anymore since its so overused now. He has nothing real to offer.

Until blast made that motivational filler content with him, his weight loss journey was really never talked about. I didn't even know about it until I started watching older matches and noticed he was significantly fatter. He got the call up because he is an ex-pro with a lot of experience that is very good at putting his thoughts into words in an articulate and engaging manner. He is not my favourite analyst and I think he can be a bit petty sometimes but the guy is very qualified for the job which he earned through hard work.

you dont know what the fuck you are talking about. He was a professional CSGO player, not semi-professional. A semi-pro doesnt get to play on Liquid. Not only was he pro, he was a tier1 player. I think his speech is actually highly needed, because there are too many depressed fat guys,, so he is doing good by being a role model. "He has nothing real to offer" then we wouldn't be talking about him, because he'd be a boring ass analyst, who says the most evident things on the desk.

Thank you, I think that pretty much sums up my point. It’s great for him individually as a person. But to other people looking from the outside it’s like nothing. Why is it being celebrated. To me this just seems like they didn’t have any material to play during half time so they were kind of grasping at whatever they could.

Pimp is a notable personality in a sport that is often conducive to a sedentary lifestyle, a major cause of obesity. It's likely that he's going to have a positive influence on many people by speaking about his experience.
If your grandpa could reach a large audience too then maybe he should tweet about it, even if it only inspires one person it could still make a real difference to the lives of several people.

There is a difference between notable and making an entire production over something like this. Is his weight lose notable? Sure. Good job. Pat on the back. I’m not actually denouncing it as an accomplishment. I’m sure for him it feels good. But dude, people do this all the time man. LOTS of people lose this kind of weight all the time. He’s not a miracle worker. Sure, even in Canada he would have been considered a fat ass. But it’s being talked about like he was insanely fat.

120kg is morbidly obese, it absolutely would've killed him long before his time.
The surplus amount one needs to eat to gain 50kg of useless weight is ridiculous and ignoring the gain over such a long period of time requires either immense delusion or a deathwish. Overcoming either of those is nothing to scoff at imo.
As I mentioned in #111 obesity is common in gamers and he's in a position to inspire people to lose weight.
Normalising obesity doesn't do anyone any good and considering you're of the opinion that losing 50kg is "...to other people looking from the outside it’s like nothing." I would say it's been horribly normalised in your mind.

I agree mostly. I think it's nice to produce a video and show it off once or twice. I don't think it should be a recurring segment, neither do i their major video, they should make new segments or add some actually enjoyable desk shows/couch segments in between games and halves.
And as you said, yea pimp was l a r g e by all accounts, no it wasn't earth shattering or morbid i agree. But the standards for being fat in dk are way lighter than they are in NA, and pimp was world class by our standards.

I don't even think people would call pimp skinny he is just normal. being pimp size is completely and utterly normal here. If anything he is less skinny than the average 18 year old gamertype guy because he has some muscle. Look at heroic. They are basically a 1 to 1 representation of average danish gamer mf in height/build.

If this is rekting of Pimp, holy fuck there's a lot of rektings going on around the social media. Seriously the asshole talking trash about Pimp is ... an asshole. To rekt someone is not that simple.
He's gotten quite hated on HLTV over the years (for being annoying/whining, etc.), but I would not describe him as a csgo player who failed, as he had played for the best Danish rosters in early CS, attended numerous majors, etc.
Apart from that, his weight loss journey was not really mentioned at all until this BLAST (correct me if I am wrong). People who had not been following CS since back then wouldn't most likely be even aware about his prior looks, as he was already fit during his SK Gaming days.
