Started running a little less than 2 weeks ago after close to 6 years of no real sports just sitting on the couch smoking weed and going to parties getting fucked up. First day I did a 3km run, I was already breathing fucked up halfway through it was pathetic, now 11 days later did my first 10km and I feel great. I've gone running every single day no matter if my ankle felt fucked or my knees hurt, and I feel stronger every day. If you are like me a lazy piece of shit that feels like a sack of potatoes every day, get out there, that shit will power your mind, biggest change I've made in my life in a long while.

It is fine to take a rest-day or a day where you do only stretches and a bit of walking. Running can be very damaging to your knees if done excessively. I get that now that you've started you probably want to continue without interruption, but just be wary that even the best runners in the world suffer from injuries caused by over-use and fatigue, so it would be wise to take a break every now and then.

yeah everyone keeps telling me that I guess right now I became a little obsessed with testing myself but I will make sure not to stress my body too much

I've done it twice it was a lot of fun but kinda expensive, rn I just started doing mma 1.5 hours every week and kickboxing 1 hour a week, so together with the running and some strength training every day my body is being tested enough I feel

I will say before that I was a very active kid, I did multiple sports and my dad always signed me up for triathlon races, but yeah 6 years I did something sporty probably like once every one or two months so I been surprising myself
