I think Gla1ve was just chillin on his legacy. He also got children (at least one as far as i know). He can still play tier one, but he never changed igl taktics since 2018/19 and meta has changed since than. He has to put a lot more hours again into the game.

Gla1ve did have tons of different players and he couldnt develop the young ones nor make the experienced ones feel comfortable. Youre talking like astralis gave blameF g2 or faze rosters to play with

B0rup was a weird pick. But biggest difference maker has blameF not lurking as much and being aggressive and putting up numbers. In old astralis if you move blamef from lurk position he would give Xyp9x run for money for bottom fragger and i have been making this complain for ages

difference maker is they have blamef igling instead of <0.9 rating igl dragging the team down like other top teams. even gla1ve could go kill in his peak (bro had 0.7kpr in 2018, he was actively contributing!) which just makes such a huge difference. aslong as nobody ghosts super hard they can win with this team, just need buzz b0rup or staehr not to go 1.0

yep, was waiting for -gla1ve too. even if that wasn't an immediate upgrade, it's still a step forward while prime astralis is the best team in cs history, gla1ve isn't even remotely a genius as people believed. a team once again turned out to be more than sum of its parts
