I'm not your average American haha. I eat very clean - Lean meat, no additives, organic mostly, fruits and veggies, 0 cheat days, whole grain, greek yogurt, granola, healthy cereal, eggs, pb, nuts, everything home cooked, only drink water, skim milk, oj etc, etc.
A lot of people eat and drink for pleasure which is their choice, but I like to eat and drink for maximum performance and health. I do enjoy my diet though and I get extra satisfaction knowing that I'm eating good and healthy food. There were a couple new things that I had to get adjusted to, an acquired taste if you will, but you really do start to enjoy the uniqueness of the flavor the more you taste it and a lot of the foods are great tasting in their own right.
I was losing a little bit of weight and was eating like ~200 calories short a day so I've recently added Extra virgin olive oil, organic dark chocolate, and avocado to my diet and I've been gaining weight again. Think I got the diet down now, fingers crossed. Working on getting a detailed workout plan done, but that's a whole nother beast.
