Perfecto (who had been living in Ukraine for awhile, even before the war iirc) and electronic (who iirc had to literally leave his wife and child behind to continue playing in navi) denounced the war because navi's stance is as follows: "If we hire russian players, we are directly supporting the war effort because the money we pay them goes to putin through taxes." They're so stuck to this idea that electronic and perfecto even requested that their nationality be changed from "russian" to "non-representing" SOLELY because of navi I'd imagine, they're dead-set on it

The logic isn't entirely ridiculous, rather it's the way they've went about applying it: They could very easily sign a russian and house him in the ukraine/ serbia (tons of players would love that I'd bet) but to them even the chance of that player travelling back to see family is probably too much. It's just humans overgeneralizing/ making things black and white when they shouldn't due to emotion, the same as everywhere else... Not that that's an excuse, mind you, but what can you do? If you said these things to their CEO he'd probably beat you half to death while screaming about how his family was in danger, he'd be so offended
OG were a team that never had the chance to win anything big (from flamez's own mouth: "our goal was to make it to playoffs"), nor do they have the money to back a team that can atm. Navi were one more strong CIS rifle away from becoming a superteam again imo. And no, I'm not saying a russian, there are other surrounding countries that speak the language that navi seems to have never scouted for talent. They just promoted 2 ukranians who weren't up to snuff in terms of firepower and then just gave up and went international, lmao. Now THAT is bad...

Let's be honest every move barring the flamez move hasn't been fruitful so far all the teams which stayed the same like G2,ence,heroic continue to be a tier above alongside vitality who swapped one player a like for like upgrade.Astralis is yet to be determined but they possibly couldn't be worse than before so I guess they turned out better too.

I used to watch every single liquid game, I’ve never wanted a team to win the major so bad, now I couldn’t really give a shit. I still love NAF and like oSee but oh well
