Topics are hidden when running Sport mode.
ENCE 2023 is actually good ence 2019 was a fluke and Aleksi has coasted off of that team ever since.

you call multiple grand finals, tournament win and ending prime astralis 30+ nuke winstreak all a fluke 💀

I feel like people only remember from that 2019 Ence that they got to the final of Katowice and completely forgot that that ENCE was good the whole year

During the liquid era, they were probably the 2nd best team Astralis was losing blast events vitality was inconsistent. Only thing that is clear 2019 Aleskib > 2023 Aleskib

I agree it wasn’t a fluke, but it was furia to end the astralis nuke winning streak at ECS not Ence

In 2019 they did win a tournament after the major finals, but yeah current ence is strong. The team began to fell apart after they benched aleksib so tough to say what they could have done if they stayed together.

Well there are different ways of ranking the tournaments, I would easily rank dallas under cologne, katowice, major and blast world final. According to liquidpedia Roobetcup 2023 is S-tier event.

Of course it's below the 1M event but it's still one of the most important events of the year. I'd consider any last qualifier for a 1M event (All the blast events, major RMRs) and all the IGS events S

2019 Ence beat prime astralis and won trophy against the strongest roster ever. Current ence is maybe more consistent but they have yet to show that they are actually better. 2019 Allu > Sunpayus 2019 Sergej > Nertz. If ence wins gamer8 and beats heroic + vitality or G2 then I will consider them better.

most good teams of 2015-2020 would get crushed by top teams of 2023
2023-08-19 13:11
Finnish ENCE was always just a meme team. 2023 roster is actually solid team.
2023-08-19 13:13
2019 ENCE if only for the fact that they played Train, and played it super well!
2023-08-19 13:30
Ence 2023 have a better caller, a better awper and better riflers

Nertz is beast but sergej and aerial even xseven was actually really good back in then. Also sergej hltv top 13 btw.

Sergej was a beast but dycha and Maden are better than aerial and xseven
2023-08-19 14:16
Both are really strong and good teams and if this roster keeps making deep runs and starts winning even some events its 2023 ence. But as Finn it's really sad that after 2019 ence there has been basicly only aleksib on tier1 and I don't see that chancing in the near future. High hopes for mouz that jimppa will make more name to himself and can maybe be the future for Finland.
