what happens when a serious country organizes a tournament
2023-08-19 23:14
only the inevitable tech pauses were a bit annoying but apart from that I think this was a flawless event
2023-08-19 23:15
its good yeah
my only complaint is the big delays between maps/games
2023-08-19 23:15
Yea, also being a 4 day event helps a lot
2023-08-19 23:15
Isn't it produced by ESL? And yea they have good production sure
2023-08-19 23:19
What happens when you aren't a cheap dousine organizer, but a rich mother fucker who demands and provides quality
2023-08-19 23:23
yeah the production has been flawless, eu production laughing stock compared to this. The format would be great if ESL and BLAST used it more often instead of prolonging every tournament with lower brackets/last chance stage, longer breaks here are no problem.

production is legit great, tourney has been a pleasure to watch
more events in Saudi Arabia please?

Not great, but not terrible.

even the translator guy seems to be doing a very fine job and he is not super awkward either and actually seems to know about CS. They did a good job. 3d renders were goofy but other than that very nice job.

Its definitely impressive, but give me a large crowd and no blood money over it any day.
2023-08-20 09:47
imagine if on esl's place (cuz they are organisers) there were pgl
2023-08-20 09:51
the event is produced by esl bro haha. i bet you wouldnt say that if it was esl branded
2023-08-20 20:16
Apart from the production on Friday, I agree
2023-08-20 20:19
I can’t deal with the tac pause music, look like street fighter game
2023-08-20 20:26
Overall pretty OK. Talent is great, music is annoying as hell and doesn’t stop playing even when the caster was talking. Crowd pretty L and this delay in the final is unacceptable. Cologne was miles better 6/10

So much for the great production..
