I feel like that exactly what theyre doing in this update, theres bunch of people getting access all over the place currently, its definitely not gonna be just 3% having it, wonder why would Gaben exclude the region he resides in like that

you need your matchmaking rank, and it may take a while. It's not open beta.

Valve are probably still salty they had to start offering refunds on steam after the ACCC tore them a new one. Likely why we still can't purchase the Steam Deck or Index either.
