I was one of the first people to get the access to the beta so ive had a long time to think about this im not just screaming cause i qd my first game and lost. This game is awful I don't think it improves anything over the last game. Id say that visual improvements are great and add a fresh new perspective but in all reality the game sucks to look at. It hurts my eyes to play on pretty much all maps regardless of brightness settings and that is unacceptable. Spraying is bad movement is bad the surround sound audio from team comms makes you lose vital pieces of info all the time that is unacceptable Another huge missed opportunity is the tweak the sound radius on some of the maps. Overpass for example i think is unplayable nuke is unplayable. On overpass if you jump in pit it can be heard by a T Side player all the way on long that is unacceptable. Knifing the air in t spawn can be heard from divider that is unacceptable. And there are a myriad of examples crossing all maps. Lastly the smoke mechanic was cool at first but this clearly isnt going to work im already smoke abusing in mm matches cant wait to see how people smoke abuse in Pro CS matches so again unacceptable. I just dont think this is anywhere near a complete project and I think that they really messed up here really bad I mean this could kill our game levels of bad. I dont think anyone actually wants to play this aside from to try it out but its boring fast and offers absolutely nothing (most times less) then CS offered. I cant see the average gamer converting to playing this or striving to grind their ass off to reach the highest echelons of this game im already bored and want to go back. MR12 is also awful totally breaks the game. Most teams have glass mentality as it is if you go down 0-6 on CT side and have to save going into round 7 game over dude teammates will throw. Im sorry I wish I was optimistic but there is nothing here. The game has been out for 12 minutes and its already washed in comparison. (This is not Richard Lewis btw)

I feel like they can improve a lot but it will never be as good as csgo. The visuals is so bad idk how people like it (and I doubt they will change that)

First thing they need to do is revamp the economy to balance MR12, more specifically the pistol rounds. And fix the performance issues that for some reason have started happening recently. Even for people that have decent to good gaming PCs.

The maps are so fucking shit. Visibility is so ass in every single map, especially in Inferno

Hearing the impact of bullets on the wall behind you and them being louder than the gunfire is certainly weird.

Fix the economy for mr12 and fix the optimization issues and the game will be fine

tried it it felt like shit i honestly felt like playing on 60hz monitor even though i have 144 and i set it on 143 in settings feels super weird, ill make sure to give it more time with friends but it looks rough rn

Guys, the game is still in Beta, this is not a full release. The game will receive patches and improve. If you want the game to be better report bugs that you find and give feedback to Valve.

I will copy the text i wrote in another topic. If u like valorant graphics then there is no surprise. But if u hated the valorant and their anime graphic then u are braindead cause Valve feeding u the same shit . I can explain my logic on cs and dota . Dota and Cs are two fucking insane games which were made brilliantly and there were million copies of cs and dota but after this shit game became more popular because they have more patches and other content ( cause valve is small indi company with 30-50 workers not joke u can google it ) cs and dota became less popular and cs and dota became copies of this shit copies. And now dota became more anime and teamgame before that u could play 1x 9 and about the cs i wrote higher topic. So valve doing as much possible to bait more ppl into their games: anime design,games became more casual and much easier to more ppl play it, juicy val graphics and other stuff

I was very optimistic about CS2 but recent decisions have made me doubt Valve's true intentions. The way they rushed out MR12 left me wondering why they're doing these changes. It dawned its 100% for their benefit and NOT the community. Sub-tick system Too cheap to upgrade to 128 tick, so gaslight the community w subtick MR12 They wanted shorter queue times, so now they merge MR8 players and MR15 without realizing this is different audiences. Now BOTH sides will be UNHAPPY. Hud changes Adding the shuffling cards, and pumping the dink sound into your ears no matter how far the opoonent is, this is just trying to attracting tik tok brain val players. Recoil / Movement changes Valve won't admit it but they want to nerf spraying and also having one player being too hard to hit due to better movement. The way spraying feels now, it'll be VERY difficult to spray transfer from someone CT to Cat on dust2 and that's on purpose. MR12 also acts like another nerf to AWPErs because losing sides won't be able to afford more than once or twice per half. Noobs hate getting killed with AWPs so they burying it like its Val.

To put it in one sentence: they turned a game with class, into a gimmicky one. There is room for improvement but in many ways, it's a downgrade- at least for now.

it does have potential but right now its ehhhh a good thing is i was worried they ruined smokes but no the smokes are very good right now even the mollys look cleaner

I can be deadly wrong since this was a common thought back in 1.6, source and all but I think CSGO was the peak of CS and it's not getting any better, even tho CS2 has potential

The movement and spray are so bad, i’ve never played something with a bad spray and movement like that

if they at least optimize this game - it could be playable, but at the current state - it's just an abomination.. definitely high-ceiling potential, but current state = hot garbage

I just played it for the first time, I dont like it at all. Movement is bad. Spray is bad. Graphics looks goofy. Need like 10 patches for me to even consider trying it again.

one funny thing i noticed at close range, the muzzle from weapons are big enough that u cant see the fucking head :DD

I finally got time to play a bit and I really enjoyed it, I deffo have to relearn some pray patterns but I thought it felt pretty smooth and the maps didn't feel as busy as I thought they would. Also looks great

they should change the way economy works out so many eco rounds

That's just a cheap copy of Valorant for NASA PC's, so why would I play this over Valo?

it's something fresh and that's why i will enjoy it sure, there are no improvements besides smokes and visuals on few maps it's the same fucking game that will eventually become as good and even better than csgo

M8 we are in 2023, the world doesn't have the patience to wait through 2 years of fixing and updating, they will just move on if you don't deliver.

Its decent Maps actually feel alive and visibility is insane Hit regs are are 2000x better than go 8/10 atm the only issue is the fps but im sure in time that will improve

Funny to see so many people crying. Making spraying harder is a good thing imo, cba to watch 30 bullet crab sprays. I want to see the players with good movement get rewarded more. Obviously the economy will need balancing if it's mr12.

Only thing which is bothering me, how Valve are going to fix the game until Copenhagen Major qualifiers, seems like an impossible task considering that it is Valve

If you ever enjoyed playing csgo and you still play CSGO to this day , CS2 is not made for you . The ultimate goal of CS2 is not to improve the game for those who liked it the way it was already. it's to get New player and to challenge Valorant and other on getting new generation of player interested in FPS competitive gaming by making it more casual and nice. They know that if u loved CSGO so much to still play after all those year , you'd still play CS2 and adapt to new fomula.

MR12 feels bad, no toggle for legs visible is annoying, optimization ofc bad cus its beta, spraying feels like ass and the subtick is worse than 128tick. Movement especially jumping and crouching is jank but i believe they will make it good. Also holy fuck the brightness of the maps hurts my eyes. So if MR15 and customization with seeing legs, agents and old HUD + buy menu its a good game.

The game will be better than CSGO. Let them cook.
