Imagine if they dont remove the GOAT game CSGO for CS2, everyone will try CS2 for few days and comeback to GO. To improve the CS2 and move the playerbase to CS2, removing GO is required because CSGO in its current state is faaar better than CS2.

CSGO was not a downgrade over 1.6 even tho nostalgia merchants would say otherwise.
It took time to improve CSGO. I dont think people nowadays would be willing to spend time on a buggy game in this fast paced game industry.

Csgo was a downgrade in almost every aspect. There is a tweet of zonic from 2012 saying that csgo will never be bigger then cs1.6.

But I still understand zonic more because csgo's beta in 2012 was actuall garbage. All cs2 needs is a little polish when it comes to optimization, that's all. The game plays fine, movement was fixed, subtick plays better. I've heard some things about nade throws being delayed but I had no such experience.
When they released Source, after 1.6, what happened?
Dont talk about what happened from 1.6 to CSGO, CSGO got skins and gambling and much $ from Valve, so people switched.
But when there was Source after 1.6, i didnt see that big switch happen.
If they are sure in their product, CS2, then leave CSGO and see what happens. :)

Different times completely. Valve didn't give a flying f about both 1.6 and cs. They didn't even create it's predecessor in the first place...
Ofc that they don't want to split scenes like 1.6 and CSS did. No profit from something like that for any party involced in this.
Csgo killed 1.6 and same would happen to csgo anyway even if they would keep it since all TOs will switch to cs2 just like they did with csgo

Different times, but in your opinion CSGO killed 1.6, even tho Source was released after 1.6, not CSGO. Why didnt Source kill 1.6?

TOs switching to CS2 wouldn't mean anything to the average gamer who doesnt enjoy CS2, finds the game bad performance wise, bad look wise and bad user-experience wise. Most would keep playing CSGO, probably even streaming it, since they wouldnt care about TOs because they dont want to go pro.

Because CSGO came out, Valve invested money in tournaments and majors, MOST IMPORTANTLY introduced skins and gambling.
I believe you are missing some things.
Numbers go like this: 1, 2, 3
So, CS 1.6 is lets say 1 (because it was the first out of the 3)
Then comes CSS, thats 2 (because it comes after 1)
Only after that comes CSGO, thats 3.
Now, yes, the 3 killed 1 and 2, but 2 did not kill 1.
So what I am saying is, do the same, leave CSGO (1), create CS2 (2) and lets see if its gonna kill CSGO or if you will need CS3 (3) where you will actually have to make a BETTER GAME player wise.
Hopefully you understand now.

Remember? Or this logic applies only on cs 2 but not on csgo?
BTW CSS didn't kill 1.6 because you still had competetive 1.6 scene so players that didn't like CSS had literally no reason to switch. All TOs will leave csgo no matter if it would have stayed or not
This type of bitching is too much from you. CS2 is genuenly not that bad while still being in closed beta. It will surpass csgo by next year and trust me none will care, not even you about csgo anymore.
It is pure delusion to think the game will stay the way it is. Even comparing the initial launch to this version it plays so much better. Movement is better, subtick performs better, the game also feels smooth.
Mr12 will take some time getting used to but cs2 is still cs, fundamentaly and mechanicaly.

If you believe in all of this, if Valve believes in all of this, just leave CSGO for us to play, it wont impact all of the amazing features CS2 has.
You are the perfect consumer for Valve.
After 10 years of fixing CSGO, they drop it, at a point where all we need is 128tick servers and a better anticheat, new/updated maps, economy changes.
Instead of the above, they went and:
- released another game called CS2, removed the CSGO game, make you only play CS2 and start from scratch with ALL the issues CSGO had at start 10 years ago and having the issues which CSGO has even after 10 years.
- Now they will work on CS2 for another 5-10 years to come CLOSE to as good as CSGO, when they do, they will release CS3 and then start all over again. Because they want your money from unboxing cases and dont care about giving you a better product with better servers, better anticheat, a good leaderboard on matchmaking.
Enjoy a shit product and be happy about it, consumers like you is what Valve need, so they can make more $ without actually providing you a better product after all the $ they made from skins, stickers, unboxing, marketplace etc.

Nobody even knew what FPL was, not until CS2 beta came out, thats when everything started going good for me, especially because I have been writing only negative comments about the new CS game.

Like source 1 CSGO can be better than Source 2 CS2 that is being made by CS dev team that first in history works with advanced easy to develop tools (they fix numerous bugs in hours) and communicate with community including pros better forever. Failured steroid usage IQ, nice one Loba. CSGO was almost perfect because it was there since 2012 but CSGO dev team was lazy to update the game more than 3 times a year, taken half a year to change one thing and wasnt able to fix things because of 20 year old engine, it was unprofessional. CS needed to be remade on new engine to reach new highs. CSGO was stuck in development. We need real FPS esport. Even Valorant don't go pass 2 mil peak viewers ever and don't fill big arenas, don't seem to have big player counts too. This is why CS2 is needed

It was worse for csgo in 2012. It took it almost a year to get more popular than 1.6. Months with lower playerbase than fuckin source.
It took loads of changes and pumping money into the pro scene to make it the main game.
I don't think it's acceptable at all to have a repeat of the same situation and have the game released in such a broken state. Ofc people are gonna cry if this is worse than what they used to have.
If csgo is better than cs2 in its current state so people would stay in csgo it just proves it's good valve removes the old game.
Obviously cs2 with much more modern engine will be better long term and half of the players staying in the old game like with 1.6 and source would just be bad for everyone.

They remove csgo because they plan to drop franchising for cs2 tournaments, and if csgo would still be alive, a lot of pro teams and sponsors would attend non valve events on the old game that's actually finished, hence they'd make less money with their pro circuit. They don't give a shit about how many people test the game or not, it would be all the same to them what game you, the regular average consumer, play, both of them are theirs.
