This made it really easy to quit for me, you obviously not just vape like an idiot and expect one day to never want to do it again.
What I personally did was starting at highest nicotine level buyable here, reducing wattage, then reducing nicotine from 18mg all the way down to 2mg, and when you get to that point, your nicotine addiction is so low that you just put the vape onto the table, you crave a bit of nicotine for a few hours and after it your addiction is basically gone. You don't get that no-nicotine appetite with this method and it is really not challenging at all. And I was definitely a heavy smoker.
Edit: Ofc gradually reducing from 18 to 2, not instantly
