Seven is nice, energetic well shot and well acted. The story is unoriginal but it was a good jumping point for the franchise (that was utilised poorly). 3 is ass, it looks like ass, it's slow, most of the time nothing of intrest is happening and when something does happen it happens out of nowhere. It's only 15 minutes longer than empire but feels at least an hour longer. I think the myth about it and it's importance to the franchise has made people force themselves to think it's good while it's just a bit better than the rest of the prequels

naa it wasn't a good jumping point for the franchise for several reasons: 1. it wasn't only unoriginal in the sense it was an over the top remake of new hope, it was also unoriginal in that they couldn't untether themselves from the skywalkers (and palpatines). 2. the new characters are unlikable, save for the storm trooper sidekick perhaps. we got a mary sue, an edge lord and a hans solo at home. 3. they absolutely shit all over the old characters. they get it wrong all the time. they have a cool setting people dig, but instead of trying to explore it in different ways they recycle the same narratives and plots. think rogue one or the mandalorian season 1. both of them had little to do with the movies, yet were liked by the fans. it shows you don't have to be stuck regurgitating the skywalker saga ed nauseam to make a good starwars movie / series.

Empire Strikes back along with Revenge of the Sith is 100% the best Star Wars movies. Attack of the clones? Not so much. The acting in the movie is really bad and just like Phantom menace it gets boring after a while

How the fuck is Revenge of the sith boring? It got stuff going on all the time. Three different lightsaber fights with one of them being the Anakin vs Obi-Wan. Anakin turning to the dark side and becoming one of the most iconic villains of all time that everyone knows. Nah I'm not having it. Phantom Menace and maybe Attack of the clones I will give you but not Revenge of the sith

ROTJ lol?? That's a massive boomer take, the only movie arguably worse than that (from original prequels and sequels) is Phantom Menace, but at least that had a cool lightsaber fight.

the complete timeline: starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Timeline_of_Leg.. the best novels to start would be: 1) Darth Bane: Path of Destruction (if you want to know how the sith started in the way they were shown in classic episodes) 2) Cloak of Deception (if you want to revise episodes 1-3 and delve deeper into origins of Clone Wars, but it's more of a political thriller rather than action-adventure) 3) X-Wing: Rogue Squadron (if you're tired of jedi vs sith bs and want to read some military action with occasional great humor and more down-to-earth characters) 4) Heir to the Empire (if you want to get right back to adventures of Luke, Han, Leia and the rest of the main characters, also great portrayal of Empire side of things)

Mandalorian went from pretty damn good in first 2 seasons, to absolute dogshit in s3. Obi Wan is a messy joke. Rogue One is a pretty good movie, you aren't being objective. While overall I don't like Rebels, I can't say that it wasn't worth the watch. Even if you absolutely despise it, having Maul in it plus two scenes justify it as being at least average. Scenes being Ashoka vs Vader and Obi Wan vs Maul.

1 & 2 - Decent, appeals to the younger audience cuz has a lot of action. 3 - Good, if you disagree you are just a pleb. 4, 5 ,6 - Good but I hate people who claim them to be the only ”good” ones just because of being the originals. 7, 8, 9 - Absolute trash.
