niko has been a semi-finals and finals choker for years, how did that simply go away only because of this season, s1mple is way more important to eletronic, s1mple can get another top 3 rifler and win more tier 1 tournaments

Is it really Niko who chokes in the playoffs though? He loses, but I don't remember so many choked maps. Simple no matter how much I think he is overrated and electronic are both super valuable. Electronic is doing fine and IMO has a good chance to eventually be doing better than Navi, though Navi isn't slouching even though they have an arguably worse roster. I don't see the need to put them against each other because they're both clearly solid players and needed on their teams.

niko does have problems with playoffs, it has happened so many times, im not even talking about the major against navi, that deagle shot was hard as hell, but people really forget how much niko crumbled in big stages, how long it has been since he won an mvp etc second take is fair enough

Did he really crumble? I mean I can go back and stat check, but IIRC he was still playing well his team just wasn't good enough. Just like how simple cannot carry dead weight why is niko expected to? Perhaps even sometimes he did play worse in the stats, but IMO that would be because he had to get something done or his team would lose. Honestly it is the difference between a stat player and someone trying to win.

i just think that out of all the big name superstars, niko felt like the one who wasn't really a stage player, ofc that doesn't mean he wont perform sometimes but cmon, he didnt have to carry like s1mple or zywoo had to in my opinion yes niko is a team player, but he is the star, and star players need to do numbers, anyways its great niko is having a good year tho

Okay so I just went back and scanned the stats. Niko actually does decent on stage, but has more fall off performances than I remember, but nothing too crazy when compared to everyone else. Of course we're comparing AWP to rifle for most of those, but it is what it is. Honestly G2 though overall and even his time spent on other teams were all worse compositions than even a weaker Navi or Vita IMO. Like just because he was put on a team with a few fading super stars who weren't playing anymore I don't think you can claim the team was actually better T2 and maybe even T3. I actually don't think of Niko as a team player. I think most of what G2 does is have 5 individuals doing the best they can and hope that is enough. He might play a bit with his team but the majority of his gameplay is trying to find the solo pickoff. But since I looked though all of it I will concede that he isn't as consistent as I thought he was in the past, but that I don't really think he chokes playoffs as hard as the rest of his team does.

from the start of this year until now i feel like zywoo is tired of using the awp, i think him and s1mple still are the best with it when they are in their best form, but he rarely uses it, i think he feels more free to take space with rifles

zywoo against sunpayus syrson on lan niko in playoffs device when he doesnt have a super team eletronic without s1mple Zywoo plays just fine against him, but does lose a few head to heads. But you eventually will lose some awp v awp fights no matter who you're facing. Niko doesn't struggle in the playoffs. G2 does. Device honestly seems solid AF right now and plays much more aggro and with his team than any other AWPer. He clearly doesn't need a team to shine for him. Electronic is doing well and so is simple. Maybe they're not at the tippy top like they could be, but I don't think eletronics ability ever demanded simples presence. Overall the answer is probably Zywoo v Sun if you had to answer because that is a direct 1:1 player comparison when the rest have teams that influence results.
