Not really. It makes sense to enforce you to take them every year cuz resting is important.

its not always possible to take all of them

How would it be not possible?

If i want to take days off, there has to be someone who does (and can do) my work. If there is no one available, im not taking days off. If there is too much work to do, im not taking days off. Its sometimes hard to find a good time for vacation.

I see your point. In Belgium, you have no choice but to take them every year. So each company must take it into account, and be ready when someone with very specific knowledge takes a day off

you say that to my boss pls

In Belgium, if you don't take them, you have to get paid but there are extra fees on it so every takes them

My contract changed start of June this year so had no build up, and been on holiday twice. I'll probably be off during Christmas itself but working during New years. We always work one or the other and you dont often get allowed to plan a whole holiday that close to Christmas.

i have 114 vacation days left neet life
2023-09-08 15:56
9 avi now, but I have technically 13 left (I receive one extra per month). I'm keeping them for some work I have to do at home. If I have some left in December, I plan to rest between Christmas & New year's eve or have a small city trip

None. I used my 4 weeks during summer. I usually take 2 weeks in May and 2 weeks in July/August. I just don't find travelling fun when it's cold outside.
