eliminating the 0-2 teams would fix this - then the two 1-2 teams (Monte and Heroic in this group) would play to face the 2-2 team (MIBR) for the final playoff spot

First game for EPL is like a warm up round apparently... looking at group A NIP 2:0 Astralis then NIP 1:3 and Astralis 3:1 MIBR would need to be 4:2 messed up.. but hey.. experience is nice for them.. if they truly deserve it.. they will take.. and jeez I hope it's either them or EG rather Monte./. truly with passion hate that team

The format is shit in more ways than one, but I think it's pretty fair that if you lose one game more, then you should also win one game more to qualify. Winning 4/6 games is still easier than winning 3/4.
