agreed its so boring, each group has like 2 good teams max (out of 8!!!) and if your favourite team already qualified you stop caring about groups completely. also fricking triple elimination is just a waste of time so it takes ages before playoffs comes around. groups should be 2 weeks max, not 4

I mean, yeah.. those mathches were pretty boring because the event has just started and there are lots of low tier teams who arent eliminated yet btw nice flair but mine is better :)

That could be the case if all those teams were at least capable of showing something good and occasional upsets, but instead it’s just a shitshow where they end up getting free spots in playoffs for playing each other and all the “good teams” don’t even have the chance to show their true performance cuz they hardly ever match up together

it's literally 2 top teams vs spot wasters every group and then the top teams will qualify regardless of how their matchup goes. how fucking stupid and boring is this? and it had to take up a whole month? might as well put the player back on break.

It's a dumb format that maximizes the amount of games between two low tier teams, Group stage all the good teams go through with 3 games while mid teams play 5.
