I agree with you there. How can they gain points when there is no event to attend?
They will say 'they can play in europe plus they will get better'
Which is pratically impossible for people without org from other regions.
You can play in EU t3 tournaments from your home with your five-stack and prove yourself to orgs, you cant do that if you live in Asia.
You need to have funds to reside in europe and you cant afford it without having an org.And how are you gonna get a org if you cant perform in professional cs?
You cant and your way to pro cs literally instantly locked because of lack of events in your region. And with this your scene is dead.
Valve needs to invest and save these scenes. As we can see,ESL has been proven unreliable(literally abandoned their project in small scenes because they need to spend less money with new rules getting implemented in 2025) .I wont even get to BLAST,they are incompetent with their policies as past has proven to us.Plus these 2 TO's literally duopolized the scene so the entrance of a new TO is highly unlikely.
So all in all,Valve needs to realize they need to step up and save those dying/dead scenes(can start with organizing small tournaments so people without org can compete),they have plenty much money to support the scenes.
