IDK if you now but in cpu power iphone is the one who is years behind. And btw button with macros, there are a lot of android phones that already implemented years ago. For people that really understand of technology IPhone will always be the "better" phone because of status and IOS has a better user experience than android. But is really a phone for average users. So basically you are paying at least 1000$ for a average usage phone. Save more money and at least buy a macbook, that would be a nice buy.

1. I didnt said there arent android phones more than 1k, but there are way many phones under 1K. The only IPhones that are under 1k are the ones that are used or the lower versions than the actual. And the ones that are more than 1k are design to not be just a average usage phone, just look at s23 ultra. Its designed for way more than just call and message.
2. Snapdragon as always being the best just wait for the next launch. S23 was launched in february so Apple can designed a better cpu for making calls.
3. Every upgrade that is not a design feature, and in that field no brand will surpass Apple, android phones already have in there phones some years before.
4. Yes. Iphone is a solid phone thats why is the one with more hype to sell but its far from being the best phone and its way too overpriced, at least more 300 $ than should really be, but yeah as the status factor which make people buy it.

iPhone 13 imo is the best one if buying a new one. If your going for the 15 the pro models have the new chip and new stuff. Bae model 15 is the same as 14 pro models. If you want the base model 15 I would go for the 14 pro instead

For one, there are many options so you can choose whatever specs you'd prefer. Second, the companies don't purposefully screw up previous versions to force you to get the newest versions. Third, it is much more customisable. And many other reasons. I mentioned google because I own one and have owned one for many years and I really like it. But of course it's a personal opinion and just a suggestion. You'd need to research anyway.

Nonsense i have an 6s an xs max a 13 pro max and 15promax on preorder all the others are still working had to change the battery on 2 and that’s it, it’s android that gets bricked after like 1.5years

you will love it. i have a 14 pro and the screen differens etc is out of this world. if you play games and scroll a lot you will se a tremendous difference. this is for the pro version with 120hz tho. regular 15 has 90 what i can see, and its the same like display hz in cs. 60 vs 144. so like other said before maybe consider 14 pro if not 15 pro since you spend so many hours/day looking at the screen a 120hz option is to recommend. gl hf

As an owner of iPhone 11 Pro, I've preordered and already paid the new iPhone 15 Pro. Could have used the current one longer, but I'm kinda into mobile photography and I feel the difference between my old phone and the newer ones. The battery also struggles and gets hot. Overall 5 years of using iPhone is enough to think about a new one.

I think iPhone XR might be the oldest phone with greatest return value for Apple. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Also, if you go for iPhone 15, only the Pro model offers USB 3.2 (10 gbps transfer speed). The base model iPhone 15 still uses USB 2.0 and will be just as slow as every other iPhone still using lightning cable.
I would say yes only because your XR will be worth more to trade in now than for the 16.
