1 month+ long Boring matches 90% Prize pool poop (for top pros) 0 prestige 20 people crowd Full of tier2 matches Tries to be edgy and fun too much (nt tho) Personally i ve never felt more bored, even showmatch banana cups like blast are more entertaining. I can watch australia na brazil and tier 2 eu teams getting stomped only a for a limited amount of time before i collapse.

They should have crowds for playoffs

Group stage is extra bad because you get bad teams playing more games than the good ones

And of course after the 4 weeks group stage we will have playoffs matches occurring at the same time, just great ! Was there really no better way to do this ? Like have simultaneous matches happen during group stage which would significantly shorten it and that way we can have a good schedule during the playoffs

Ngl I think I'm in the minority cause I genuinely like EPL cause I enjoy watching cs and a 4 week even where only a major can show me more variety of match-ups is like heaven to me. That and I get to laugh at shit that happens during the matches. I think the cast does well to fill up the filler and waiting times but since I gotta work, I can't keep up with the 'lore' or their inter caster tournaments. I think it's fine for one event to be like that, given you'll only see this many different teams compete on a Major
