I think both, but probably first the graphics card I think is older
depends on your monitor tbf
I don't want to spend more than 300€
Get yourself a used RTX 3060 or AMD equivalent, and use any spare money you have to upgrade to 16GB RAM
go for a new amd cpu at 120€ ( you can stay on am4 platform with an updated bios if you're not unlucky), and a graphic card for 180-200€
and add 20$ as soon as you can for a 8gb ram stick
and btw, especialy for cpus, you can buy in secondhands market place tbh
edit: I want to know what chipset your MB has so I can see what CPU upgrades are available
8GB is not enough, even 16GB is barely enough
You need both if you sell your gpu + 300 you can buy a rtx 3060ti, also you need at least 16gb ram
Nvidia 950 - something similar to the rx6600 in the used market
ryzen 5 1600 - am4 is great for upgrades and most likely you will get a good cpu in the used market. what motherboard do you have?
8gb ram - sell and buy 2x8gb
cs2 on SSD - good
with 300€ you can upgrade cpu,ram and gpu at the same time
rx6600 around 150ish
ryzen 5600(x) 100-150
40€ for great samsung b die ram sticks 2x8 (Patriot viper steel)
Update GPU to a second hand rtx 2060 or AMD equivalent (I guess won’t be more than 150€) and go to 16gb RAM then you’ll be good.
ryzen 5 5600
rx 6600 / rtx 3060
if you have 1x8 then get another one and make it dual channel
Upgrade all but start with CPU > RAM > GPU.
and get at least 32gb ram
ok that guy that wrote get 32gb ram overdid it a little but id recommend an upgrade on the gpu and 2x8gb ram just look at the used market u should be able to upgrade both within 250euro/usd
don't think either would be very useful
your gpu is fucked for cs2
Your biggest bottleneck is everything. Try upgrading that.
this cpu is still decent for multi core tasks but the gpu is giga outdated ye
i would go for +8gb ram and a better gpu
upgrade cpu to something like ryzen 5 3600 or something like that.. and you should be getting decent fps in cs2.. when you have more money you can either buy a new pc or upgrade gpu to something decent
Would go for a R5 4600G and just use integrated graphics until i had enough money for a RX 6600M.
Tier List u can buy over time:
R5 4600G~5600G >
16GB 3200MHz >
Good CPU Cooler/Thermal Paste >
RX 6600M >
750w PSU for future upgrades
unnfortunately, you gotta upgrade evrything. not just for cs but for everything else. also minimal 16gb ram. you can buy everything pretty cheaps now, if you cant, you can buy parts and pay every month as u decide with the seller, evrry month maybe 50 60 euros for next few months. and trust me better to buy something good now rather then buy new parts every year or 2
hey guys did they change ur faceit lv on cs2 as well? im confused
both cpu & gpu are bad , & ram +8 is a must anyway , imo u should upgrade cpu first , to make things stable , then make ur way with a good gpu
well you need 2 ram sticks, ideally CL16 3200mhz+ (dont forget to overclock in bios)
buy ryzen 5600 (not 5600X), that will boost your fps the most (do not listen to idiots above who say GPU is more important, those ppl are running 13900K+1060 or some shit lol)
rest spend on 2nd hand gpu (1070ti/2060?), might need to save up more money. but id buy gpu last for sure, both ram and cpu will give you more fps per dollar.
Buy a new pc if you change cpu you gonna need new motherboard and new ram. Just buy a new pc
Please god if you are actually serious do not listen to these BOTS telling you that you need 32 gigs of ram. Windows has become very good at allocating memory and you never saturate 16gb playing any game ever made.
I would start by upgrading GPU and have a look to see if your motherboard is compatible with a ryzen 3600 because that would help quite a bit with cs. Both are in need of an upgrade so good luck.
I always stay to this rule: Never buy an AMD product
Where I live, a Ryzen 5 5600 is about €100 used, a stick of 8 GB RAM is about €15 new, and an RX 5700 is about €120 used. That's €235. Of course, prices may vary depending on where you live, but assuming you can sell your old hardware, it should give you a bigger budget if the parts cost more
better cpu and at least 8 gb more ram, no gpu with shit budget because it costs the most
Doesnt rly matter cuz u wont feel much of a difference until u upgrade all tbh especially considering ram is in dire need of upgrade as well
