Played about 40 games, 11 won. It's absolutely no fun anymore
I gave it a chance but think I will quit for the first time. Literally waste of time.. better investing more time to the Gym.
Whats about you guys? What is your feeling about CS2?

Yeah I know thats why Im not quting for ever but the first impression is pure disappointment for me, I hope it gets better, if not I don't see any future in it for me
I had the beta since the time they released Dust 2. I emptied my inventory the day the beta was released to most players I will follow the pro scene but it is our time to grow up and move on and in a way I am happy that CS2 is forcing me out because it will foster in another generation of people just like us who love the game thus is the cycle of life

The game itself isn't bad, I think it's just the hardest thing for CSGO players to adopt. If I had never played CS before it would probably be a lot easier, so yeah maybe youre right. We are getting older so time to move on

The game is faster its smaller its less strategic it has brighter graphics comparable to an anime. The game is clearly made for 12 year old's. Anyone who denies that is coping I don't see how grown men can or should play a game like this. Also most people are cheating. Atleast that's the case in NA not so sure about EU though I've heard rumors. All things must end and this is where CS purists like us gotta get off otherwise we never will.

Yeah there is a ton of cheating here. But even putting that aside headshots are so fucking ridiculously easy any silver can get them. Hell you don't even have to be aiming at the person in cs2 to hit heads. I've seen so many damn clips of it and experienced it myself. Valorant ran flawlessly in beta. Valve is massive. There is no excuse for cs2 being as bad as it is.

Valorant used its beta as a marketing gig, Valve is using it to test shit, you can see by the amount of updates
Once I fixed all my settings I've had no issues. Cs2 feels just like csgo except everything has a half second delay for some reason. It feels like I'm playing on EU servers. I still get kills though so idk.

^ those are the video settings I used that made the game feel closer to csgo.
Still has the delay but thats a server issue, idk if its subtick or what.

They are saying sensitivity is the exact same in CS2 as it is in CS:GO but thats the main point that feels not the same for me idk. But I will try the settings

Nah, you can tell if you go on an offline server and place bots.
in csgo with an awp you can flick to someone and kill them AFTER you left click if you flick fast enough.
in cs2 awp flicks never work unless you are very patient.

As a main awp I gotta say cs2 feels absolutely shitty to awp with, even more so on ct.
And yeah its a new game I get it but the thing is that when you were actually decent on GO it kind of pisses you off to now play "cs" where you get destroyed by people who just hold W and Mouse1 since volvo decided to make the game easier for newcomers.
I changed back to faceit after the 10 games required in cs2.

I couldn't win a match in last 2 weeks to get a rank when at the start I won 6 in a row. Spraying started to be an isssue after those 6 wins dunno what is happening
The CS2 AK is terrible, my guess is that's your main problem. Play Galil for a bit on T side to get your confidence up.

brother the casual game ends at 2,5k elo, nobody would get to that level without tryharding and you can't expect 3k elo to play noobish cs and always run into your crosshair

I didn't complain about anyone tryharding - I would consider myself a tryhard too. Atleast if it's needed, I start focusing more on doing the right stuff instead of just egochallenging everything. I just wanted to tell the guy who was happy about having good games in cs2, that he's probably not playing against people who are as good as he used too in cs go.

I don't deny MM is a joke, but im in like 15k elo-ish. I didnt play MM seriously in GO anymore, but i was LEM. However my leetify stats average better than global in every category. I compare myself to a level 8-9 faceit.
Basically, i am farming noobs. People hand me clutches, and the fact that my first bullet is so good in GO, means I'm also farming people who cant just oneshot me most of the time.
CS2 is still in BETA which it shows you what BETA means when you first open CSGO2... I don't understand now how people are crying that they have CSGO2 access but before, they were crying their eyes out because they weren't given CSGO2 privilege beforehand.... The sound itself is still horrific in CSGO2 however, that will be fixed over time as this is not the finished product. I am not good with the deagle on csgo and I won't lie, on CS2, I've hit some ridiculous headshots that I personally even told myself that I was not even aiming at his head.
Also, if you are playing deathmatch, you have to understand that the best CSGO players are going to be in that server so I know we all naturally think the player is either cheating or bs because they are better than us(since we all believe we are the best in every server) however, you will like it more once they open up more modes for players to play.
NVIDIA PERFORMANCE OVERLAY shows me AVERAGE PC Latency under my FPS and for
CSGO : It shows 0.3-0.8ms
CSGO2 : it shows 8-22ms (which is a reason I feel there is no command to see your ms on CSGO2 since to me, that's that a big difference.) I like having the feature from NVIDIA as I can play around with the advanced video settings to give me the lowest latency.

The servers are straight up garbage. The game offline feels completely different. When i play a match there's always this garbage delay. Does not even happen on DM.

cs2 feels perfectly fine for me. 64 tick but better hitreg. I really think it comes down to being poorly optimized for some people's hardware, which should be fixed when it comes out.
Sens is fine, lag compensation is terrible. Hitreg is fine if don't get cucked by server lag. Random rubberbanding is rough. The game is not even close to being ready for a full release. At least rn it's still possible to play csgo, that game is super hyper amazing compared to cs2.

They don't care / mesure how long you have been playing, just if you have prime.

Was on holiday on launch and only played faceit on csgo, so I got a mm rank when I got back and got invite after 2 updates.
CS2 is great game they just need to fix animation desync, audio, gelatin character models, frame time performance, texture model glitch, lag compensation, -insecure command

CS2 is truly an amazing game and I love it so much!! Valve just need to work on fps, input lag, lag compensation, fps optimization specially 1% lows, stuttering, gpu utilization, subtick, hitreg, tickrate, anticheat, promises, 5stack premier elo boost services, floaty movement, nade throw delay, model clipping through walls, nvidia reflex fix, cpu multithreading optimization (cpu utilization?), water optimization, clunky nade physics, bloomy visibility, desync tracers, reload model desync, 3D audio positioning, demo hoverboard replays, server hardware and infrastructure, better nade visibility to differentiate smoke/flash midair, gamemodes (specially DM), dying behind walls, crashes, 64tick weird spray, smg meta fix, skin models design, 60hz feeling

Even after the patch, I'm still getting shot behind cover as I move into it. I just had a game where I was 1-shotted by a deagle bodyshot while behind over, with full hp and no wallbang. The worse part was the guy who shot me was 3-12, so if he was hacking, he's doing it wrong.
This game is just so bad.
Jesus christ the CS community has to be one of the most insufferable in terms of expectations and reactions to anything at all changing. For the whole fucking year everybody was clamoring for CS2 access to the beta. As soon as they released it instantly changes to “it’s not exactly the same as CSGO felt so it’s shit and I’m quitting.”
Do none of you remember the garbage we dealt with in CSGO’s history? Broken guns, bad hitreg, unstable framerates, game breaking bugs. They have all existed in CSGO’s history. It took almost 5 years for the game to reach a level even comparable to CS2’s beta, but nostalgia has just blinded you into thinking it’s always been the same game. I honestly hope some of the people complaining about CS2 and “anime graphics” (seriously?) do actually quit so the community will be free of toxic people like them.
