each have their reasons. if stavn didnt have stage issue he would have been the obvious choice. if dupreeh wasnt getting old he would be the obvious choice.

just because he picks your entire team doesnt mean he's doing it aggressively - he picks and chooses his moments but he's definitely not more agro than passive and thats why he is the goat

tend to get more opening pics when you hold strong angles passive and patiently esp when you have a damn awp and are good enough to literally OWN half the map solo. (overpass) Like i said he does both but he's like half and half and always chooses the right half for the moment its uncanny

of course hes not gonna hold W with an AWP like k0nfig, but saying he is a passive player when Jame and sh1ro exist, is just a stupid argument to make, when he is (to my knowledge) the highest rated opener in terms of AWPers in T1. Calling that passive play is ridiculous EDIT: Just checked and yes he is the highest rated one with a 1.25 opening kill rating. Most hover around 1.1, some reach 1.15, but sh1ro and such are at 1.00+

magisk is medium imo. he is required to anchor and is fricken good at it but by nature his aggressive player. new device more aggressive. dupreeh and konfig i take it i wont have to comment on them. learn the game and its players and update your brain before commenting xD man why even have this shallow insult if the only thing you can see is your own perspective? not to say that type of aggressive roster wouldnt work. normally it wouldnt but it could. personally I like to see a new aggressive roster being tried with this type of synergy and tactical depth as meta counter.

Dupreeh konfig yes - magisk anchor so no but is a great player and used to trade dupreeh ALL the time as 2nd entry - and devve is always been a passive aggressive awper - holds the best angles and is very patient - thats defensive / passive player to me but devve can do both ofc like magisk - just chooses passive 7/10 times cos he is an awper and he is smartest player and best player on the team so why take pointless risks. Doesnt sound aggressive at all

He is close to perfect IGL. We wont see many perfect an international roster that has changes like it does (-spinx) and still kick down these super teams. He is amazing player and men out of the server also.

HA! I strongly believe that "Planet Earth" or the "human race down here", "Terrestrians" or "Earthlings" ... whatever you prefer ... "Children of Terra" ... are soon to be included in an inter-galactic society. The sooner we can get rid of the "White-Black", South-North, East-West, "European-Asian-American-Chinese-Indian-Russian" ... idea about each other, we are finally getting somewhere. But yes: There are quite a few talented csgo-players in the "Danish" or "Scandinavian" area of our home-planet! Somewhere around 20 "Danish" players have been at the top of the top500 players in the world for a decade: No wonder that there are TWO "Danish" teams in top5 at the moment on top of all the other pretty strong players up there!

The "magic" thing here is "team chemistry". We can go over "individual stats" over and over, but something has to "click" between FIVE players, who ALL find themselves in preferred roles on SEVERAL maps, trusting their IGL and coach ... on top of feeling comfortable on big stages and in front of the camera with a mic sticked in their face. These days you may ALSO want to include some "young and up'n'comin'" gun-slingers, who are "hungry" to go after all the "old +27-year old veterans" ... In short: The current Astralis-lineup seems to have ALL of the above! A STRONG organization behind the team. Now even an IGL, who KEPT his impact-rating despite moving to the IGL role. Dev1ce ... well ... an AWP'er who seems to put up numbers even BETTER than before his 1 year leave of abscence. Buzz: Astralis Talent ... His performance simply took a jump into the international top-elite level after the recent events. Staehr? Maybe not Robz, Mag1sk, Twistzz or Spinx level (yet!), but he is 19 ... Borup? In my mind "The Player" to be replaced on Astralis, but "WHO" exactly would fit better? K0nfig, es3tag, dupreeh, Valde, Jappi, Stavn, Altekz, Br0 ... Don't forget Borup's "hunger" to make it "big". He's obviously been working hard. He obviously wants to kick Heroic off of the numba1 spot in Denmark. He's willingness to take the "shit-kicking" roles and doing GREAT so far ... Yeah, dupreeh could actually do that as well. K0nfig could make wonders in entirely different ways ... but sometimes he doesn't, right? Mag1sk ... well ... obviously a STRONG addition to ANY team anywhere, but I can't imagine Vitality would give him up at or for any reasonable prize any time soon. IN SHORT: Let's wait and see in half a year if ASTRALIS 2.0 isn't the STRONGEST team, this region could offer at the moment! 👍👍
