youtube.com/watch?v=j_6gIgNYG6M Up to 2,000 migrants are crossing Arizona and Texas borders per day, as the surge continues. dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12532469/Af.. West African migrant thanks Joe Biden 'Joe Biden opened the door for us, I wanted to come here to be free' Why are all the migrant movements happening all of a sudden in the past 1-2 months? Europe also seems to have a migrant crisis where there are too many people for how many resources there are. What is your guys opinion?

Immigration is good for the economy.

yes it's great for business owners to keep costs down as they can hire immigrants who will accept dog shit wages. it's terrible for natural born citizens and tax payers.

It brings progress, mate. Without access to those jobs that are taken by the immigrants those "natural born citizens" have to better themselves in order to pursue even better jobs.

agreed. when they are skilled labor

Hardly. While migrants are particularly important for skilled labour in particular fields where they are needed, the most important part of almost any economy in the western world, are those for the field where the domestic workforce just simply don't want to work, particularly the working class field.

undocumented workers take any blue collar work they can get, which means they will not argue or strike for higher wages since they do not have the bargaining power. decades of this and wages stay low, US citizens will not work the wages that undocumented people will (which are often illegally low)

That's an issue with not having strong unions. That's a completely different topic that I don't think anyone in US politics is mature enough to have yet, although it's the only way forward. At least it's a little bit comforting to see how there's more backing now behind the writer's strike.

decades of dismantling unions will do that. also see detroit UAW Auto workers are striking as we speak. the culture war stuff is a distraction manufactured by the elite investment companies pushing ESG so that no one will talk about class warfare regardless of skin color or political affiliation
2023-09-21 08:00
That can also lead to work based discrimination or human trafficing.
2023-09-21 08:31
As well it can be observed from the point their professionality is tax free professionality. At least in high taxrate countries where public education is mainly paid by tax income.
2023-09-21 08:30
are they being accepted or turned away?

accepted. Theres an immigration loophole at the moment. Also Title 42 from COVID ended a few months ago, which relaxes border control restrictions

people are paying for $160-$185 cheap visa when they fly and arrive in Nicaragua at the US embassy. travel to the border, enter US, overstay the VISA but by that time are in hiding or unable to be indentified. ni.usembassy.gov/visas/important-visa-in..

Yeah but B1/2 visas have always been a thing. Besides, if they overstay their visa period, they are illegally in the country and can get deported if caught

planned demolition of the country to pave the wave for authoritarian china to be the global superpower and usher in a new thousand-year communist dark age. all the dumb kids think they're going to get some communist utopia, they'll get china in america.

what do you think the point of this culture war is? do you think these multinational corporations actually care about women and colored people? if they care about them so much why do they avoid paying taxes by setting up a bunch of offshore accounts and paying shit wages to their employees? start thinking about who actually benefits from woke/communist culture, it shouldn't be that hard to see the real agenda. “Accuse your enemy of what you are doing, as you are doing It to create confusion” - Karl Marx it's funny how everyone realizes corporations are greedy as hell and love screwing over people to make profits. all the children love to blame capitalism and call it "late stage capitalism".. these same people can't put two and two together when the multinational corporations are the ones pushing these agendas... "diversity is our strength" lmao, there's more than enough diversity within a homogenous population, the reason corporations love diversity is so that employees don't talk to each other which means no unionization, and they love third world immigrants because they accept dirt poor wages and long hours.

That has nothing to do with communism at all, that's just pure capitalism
2023-09-21 07:33

woke culture is not communism, it's an ideology that leads directly to communism. woke culture is not "pure capitalism". capitalism is an economic system that exists outside of government, capitalism can exist perfectly fine in a setting of anarchy. woke culture needs power structures like government to enforce its ideology. I never said the specific examples I gave were examples of communism.

you really don't see how the people who whine about equality and equity all day, blaming rich white people for their problems and cry to the government to solve all their problems leads to communism?

Aren't you just blaming rich (mostly white) people for your problems? And you want stronger unions to counter labour exploitation, which is a thing I'm pretty sure many of those "woke communists" would agree with
2023-09-21 08:27
1 reply
no, I'm blaming governments for my problems because of their abuse of power and relationships with the uber rich. something that will only get worse with communism as you see in China and any other nation that has attempted "communism". I'm not necessarily opposed to unions but they aren't completely necessary. to be clear about my feelings toward communism/socialism, it's completely fine on a small voluntary scale. the bigger the scale gets, the bigger the power structure, the worse it gets.

the majority of modern americans were born in america and speak english. the majority of people who immigrate legally can actually speak english. these illegal immigrants are neither. you think you're such a good person for supporting open borders and migrants, but you're just making it harder for lower class people like yourself to afford a home.

Housing prices are inflated due to wealthy individuals and companies purchasing numerous properties, and US landlord culture.
2023-09-21 07:49

yes. these people are insanely wealthy now because they've kept minimum wage the same for decades while increasing their salaries/profits because of immigration or taking their businesses to third world countries to exploit the laborers there. this is why "landlord culture" is out of control. it was very easy for someone to afford a house 60 years ago. these same people are the ones that make sure the political discussion is about stupid bullshit like sexism/racism instead of the wage gap. idiots like you fall for it and then go and virtue signal on the internet while they get richer.

its easier to cause social division as a distraction. to put the working class at odds with each other instead of fighting for wealth equality and the widening income divide. probably why you see a lot of multinational investment companies push ESG so much. divides the working class over comical social issues when in the end material well being is the most important thing

yes. it's no coincidence you saw all the BS racism stuff from the media directly after Occupy Wallstreet in 2012.

I agree mostly with this sentiment khan but the constant onboarding of immigrants is an economic disaster. not to mention, resources are said to be allocated to helping immigrants (as opposed to helping at risk citizens already residing in the us below the poverty line), however a large majority of these immigrants that make it into the US get deported within 1 to 2 years, destroying family units.

If we had an easier way for immigrants to apply and be accepted, so many resources wouldn't be needed to maintain the situation. I had a friend in high school who was classified as "undocumented" despite her family having waited in line for 14 years. The intention backlog to prevent immigration is the main source of the wasted resources.

The wall that's already there is a joke. We've already seen holes and people climbing it relatively easily, and reports of tunnels. It would never been more than a vastly expensive metaphoric investment. That's all it ever was.

They should just let through everyone, who can get over the wall. So only the strongest migrants would pass.

parts of the border have no wall parts of the wall have big of enough gaps that the skinny people just slide through parts of the wall are cut through with blowtorches or saws
