back in the day i found it "too epic" to be watchable without even giving it a try, the definition of "too epic" is peaky blinders, overdramatic dialogs etc, you know what i mean. so, valley of the wolves fragments became frequent in my youtube recommendations and now im thinking about watching it from the start, whould you suggest? 100+ episodes of 80 minute series afterall..
they say this isnt a quite tv show, this is actually a true documentary of mafia of those days, is that so?
I would definitely recommend to do so. Even though I hate these crime-related series and movies and think that it kinda ruins my intellectual, this series hit different for sure. Old Istanbul vibes are mesmerizing for me.
Please beware of the following characters and skip when you see them:
Ömer Baba and his wife,
Elif without Polat, Elif's whole family, Elif's lawyer friend.
This will shorten the series around 15 mins for each episode :)
inspired based on a true stories back that time and sometimes references are made to real events but mostly fiction. Still worth to give it a try but I hate the fact that Turkish series are way too long than it should be...
i found it interesting that Turkey did its best movies the period ussr did its best, afterwards is trash on both sides, wonder if this is the case for everyone else except hollywood?
