Am i the only one who has a decent set up, yet suffers constant crashes in CS2?
Not only does the game crash, but my entire pc does. It makes me mald.
Only thing that I can recall fixing my crashing was a new update and then it randomly just stopped
Try verifying your game files and if that doesn't work check out "Process Lasso" and apply the necessarry settings to cs2.exe

I thought the recent update fixed it, cause it did not crash for a bit and now I am back to it. I verified the game files and am now reinstalling all of CS and CS2, which is like 70 GB :)))
I was very excited to finally play, but this has completely killed my enthusiasm.
I have 32 GB of RAM, I have a RTX 2060 and an AMD Ryzen 5 3600, I should not require a process optimization tool. :(

I have 500/600 fps yet I needed that because I was having stutters from time to time so give it a try and if it doesn't fix shit you can always uninstall it
And as usual update all drivers and make sure your BIOS is updated aswell, I was having like 350 fps and once updated the BIOS it jumped to above 600
I know what I'm saying seems to have no correlation with your issue but try everything at this point, nothing to lose

I need to update the BIOS through a USB-drive, right? Don't think I have ever updated it in the past 3 years lol

Yep, you have to put it on a USB and hit BIOS Flashback button on the back of your case (idk if your motherboard has that)
Anyway be careful and make sure to watch a tutorial on how to do it so you don't brick your PC and also make sure to enable XMP profile again once BIOS is updated

User space software must not under any circumstances crash your OS.
It means either your OS or its drivers are buggy, or your HW is not working properly.
Update your graphics drivers, if it doesn't help, reinstall Windows from scratch and install nothing but Steam + CS2 and graphics drivers (I'm not joking). Check if it works. If you still get crashes, reset your BIOS settings and remove any overclocking that you have. Run memtest86 for a few hours for good measure.

Yes this is what confused me to, as it does not run in kernel mode and therefore should not be able to crash my PC. I ran steam as admin sometime ago, cause this fixed an issue with csgo being capped at 30 FPS, however this was on a different device and right now neither steam, nor CSGO or CS2 runs with elevated priviliges.
I have never suffered from this in anyother game, from CS, to Rocket League, FIFA, Valorant, RDR2, GTA V, Far Cry or anything, so the issue should definitely be within CS2.
I do not overclock, but I will check my graphic drivers. I will not reinstall windows, as I have a bunch of shit on this device. If I cant get this fixed without overhauling my entire machine, I'll be quitting the game. :'( Thank you tho boss.

I've had one crash and it wasn't just a game crash, but it crashed my whole PC. Just after a smoke bloomed infront of me my PC shut off

how does it crash, you get a No Signal on your monitor? Or just a freeze on your display
I cant Communicate Ingame anymore ... push to talk works and see the Icon in the lower left Corner but it doesnt gives Audio out (or gets In, who knows). Thats funny when im in TS or Discord and tell my mates that my Mic doesnt work ingame anymore BECAUSE IT WORKS EVERYWHERE ELSE!!!1111

depends heavily, e.g. Radeon Cards need a Custom Clock where minimal Hz should be around 400 Hz lower than the maximal to get rid of heavy annoying FPS Drops (from 220 to 90 eg).
E.g. max Clock at 2800hz, minimal clock to 2400 hz. Before i was on minimal clock at 700 or something and it dropped and freezed super hard.
I had a crash per game on the previous game build but then they updated on the 15th or something and from then no more crashes. If the only thing that crash is CS2, maybe you could wait before change your bios and wait for final game and do a fresh installation for it.

5950x with 6900xt 16gb, in deathmatch it instantly rubber bands in fights, this game is not optimised for high end radeon for sure
i7 13700 with 3080 10gb, my 3080 crashes (actual pc turns off) only in cs2 but maybe after 30-50mins of play, every other game is fine
with my 11400f and 2060 super 8gb, somehow its super buttery smooth, and the fps drops less than on my good pcs, like it never goes below 350 and hits 500 regularly, i hooked up my 390hz acer with this shit pc and the game is just so good and smooth, i actually dont understand it

I read somewhere that upgrading bios helped someone, personally I didn't because I didn't have problems but my CPU sucks. and CPU is everything in this game. so you should look at it in bios I think.
because it's weird that ur getting the most stable system on the weakest cpu.

they all have 980 pro m.2 and i use this 11 pro build which takes out the bloatware and tweaks everything nice

i even did firmware update on my 3080 (cos i have the 3 x 8pin version aorus master) it unlocked from 320w to 450w and runs my AAA games a lot nicer... and yeah all latest bios for mobos
its funny cos my 2060 super has coil whine, which only kicks in when i load a game and i cant hear with headset on so its all good but yeah i was almost gonna sell this shitbox its the only one that runs cs2 properly
forgot to mention i tweak each cpu to its max so i doubt that
for 5950x i have hyperthreads off (32 threads disabled), so just 16 physical cores all clocked to 4.6hz
my 13700 i have e-cores disabled, left the hyperthreads on(24 threads) and 8 p-cores it runs at 5.1ghz and doesnt drop because i disabled the intel speedstep, so its like constantly 240w mode with 5.1ghz
also my 11400f is using the power limit unlocker so its constantly 125w instead of 65w, i have b-dye samsung ram(32gb g-skill 3600hz CL14 this stuff overclocks easy) its running 4.35ghz constant on 6 cores and 12 threads with the BCLK at 102 or something
i dont think disabling hyperthreads on 13700 will matter, ive watched olofmeister stream and he runs 13900k which i think is 2 extra p-cores than mine but he also has 24 threads and doubt hes the type of guy to disable that, he runs it smooth af from what i saw, so yeah hes got basically identical cpu to my 3080 build
