Probably, most overrated roster in history. 3m$ for average Mouz/NiP level team, crazy

I dont think team gonna deliver even with jerry instead of electronic. Perfecto is not really that much of a "star player". C9 paid him same as ropz's and niko buyouts

if that is his new role it's too funny for me. no, he's a star anchor, not star rifler.

He is lurker on T sides. And I barely saw him doing some crazy difference like ropz or twistzz. Perfecto must be most overrated player in Russia.

so basically they still have hobbit as anchor and that's why perfecto can do what he wants... strange decision. team can be fixed easily with new, better igl (-> electronic star rifler, perfecto anchor again) or new star rifler, perfecto anchor. both times it's obviously -hobbit.

you need two anchors. hobbit is the big site anchor (think a on mirage) while perfecto plays the small site (b on mirage)

they've only lost 3 matches in this season + one bo1. 2 of them being vs ence and vitality, literally 2 best teams right now everything else was a win + this will probably be a win as well, m1 was col's only good map after all

C9 were tryharding 3 maps OT-s against almost every tier2 team.

it's the end result that matters
2023-09-21 17:22
btw what "every tier2 team" xd. this only happened with 9ine and gamerlegion, both of which they played with buster standing in for axile. and they still won so who cares

>still won who cares only casualhead would say that. You can win close game against weak team and you're free to celebrate. BUT in a long term better team will came in and farm you like ENCE did with C9.

in a long term they only lost to ence and vitality, #1 and #2 teams, as well as to fnatic while playing with standin.

They didnt just "lost" to ence They got... You know what I mean. Even Liquid gave ENCE close fight on first map. C9 won pistols against ENCE on ancient and after that just acted dead for 2 maps

What a shame getting destroyed by a team with 80%+ winrate against all the top teams Also the fact you compare it to liquid getting more rounds only shows how clueless you are lmao. As if losing 11-16 is any better than losing 5-16

Lets not overrate that ENCE team lol. They're not THAT good, look at the Cologne finals. Its just C9 who played on same level as tier2 teams for some time ,and finally faced top3 team. Expected 32-8 G2 won that final without any pressure.

Nobody is overrating them. Ence are objectively one of the most consistent team rn and it’s just factual that they have over 80% winrate. They had what, 3 top2 in tournaments in a row? G2 won that final without any pressure, yes. Difference is g2 are unstable af, they won that tournament but literally failed previous one in BLAST, and in gamers8 well they had 9ine and vp to beat

If ENCE was that "unbeatable gods", they would have at least make that game close against G2. Lets just admit that C9 played like t2 team... And they HAVE been playing same as GamerLegion/Monte type teams, just lucky that individuals like sh1ro made slight difference in those games.

Again you seem to have the false understanding of close games In your mind losing 14-16 x3 would be any better? That’s nonsense

If anyone thinks sh1ro should be top-anything this year, he should single-handedly be beating Complexity if he was half as good as his fanbase thinks he is.

He's also on a very steady decline since March. Had 3 good months and has been average or worse since. That spells top-5???

There’s a reason why rankings consider a whole year Unless he goes full bot mode for the next 3 months yes he will (should) be top5

You really need to check those rankings if you believe he will be top-5. He's on the decline, tied with BlameF and s1mple for the 5th spot in ranking. Spinx is nipping on their heels and sh1ro hasn't won anything this year. There's a better chance of him not breaking top-10 than being top-5.

That would require c9 bombing out every single tournament ahead + him not putting up any numbers. He may be on decline but he’s still a consistent carry for them, idk what you’re even talking about. Like oh he doesn’t make 1.25-1.3 rating anymore what a shame Also spinx isn’t REALLY that close, 0.03 might seem a negligible difference but it takes a lot more to overcome that + also considering they have pretty much the same amount of maps played

Like losing to a T2 complexity so easily? The higher tier competition you filter sh1ro's rating by, the lower he goes on the list. Great at farming T2/T3, as 40% of his games are vs rank 10-20 team, which is the lower end of T1 and higher end of T2. Which is a strong indication that C9 is a top T2 team. When was the last time you've seen a T2 team player make the top-5? As for 0.03 being a lot to overcome, that's ignoring Spinx winning a major and Gamers8, while being one of his team's best players. Remind me what position C9 placed in Paris?

that 0.03 difference is already counting paris and gamers8 xd are you trolling? and complexity is just one match. we still look at his LAN performance across the whole year. i mean it's either you're baiting or just choosing to deny the reality, it's not like c9 are already eliminated either. and it doesnt matter what kind of teams they will be facing as long as it's within these "top" tournaments it's really basic things, idk why i even have to explain this

Read your comment again about me "baiting" or "denying reality." Then pay attention to where my pointing out Spinx winning 2 major tournaments and you firmly believing that comment is about 0.03 rating difference and not the ACTUAL WINNING of tournaments, something the final ranking 100% takes in account. You're literally making stuff up to try to make a point, which is the very definition of denying reality. You want to talk about tournaments? Cloud9 hasn't won vs a top-15 team since February, that's 7 months, while playing 1/3 of their events since in T2 tournaments. I awful glad sh1ro has this good rating, which is declining, while farming more T2 teams than anyone else in the top-10. Look, I could agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong. So for obvious reasons, I won't agree with you no matter how delusional you choose to be or how many arguments you try to fabricate.

winning tournaments is only a factor when its a tie otherwise lol, nobody gonna put spinx above while he has 0.03 less rating no matter what tournaments he won

2023-09-21 18:40
Well, CS:GO era is over, I think these results are not this important right now, lest wait for the new chapter. If C9 would suck in CS2, then they definitely would need some changes.

remember C9 Colossus was worth over $7m (and it's ONLY the player buy outs & contracts, not including bootcamp, management, coach, analyst and other spendings)

It is too late to change the roster I think that a lot of things gonna change in cs2, but overall yeah, this roster is kinda disappointing, at least G2 are in a good form
