Myeah, unlike every single person on here, I've been saying I don't believe in this C9 since it was announced though. Doesn't matter what players you have if there is no direction. They had very little of it with nafany, they have just as little now.

Have you watched them play? They look disjointed, they may have a game plan, but that game plan doesn't seem to suit sh1ro and ax1le very well, the two people they should be relying on getting the most out of. I'm gonna safely assume that their communication isn't great either based on how many rounds they just lose because the info just doesn't seem to be there at all.
Take their T side on Ancient now for example. How many times did we see them push B where engagements were taken without or with very little potential of a trade. That is not the definition of a team with a good game plan, direction and communication.

It's very simple actually. electronic did no wonders in NaVi while trying to IGL. What confidence should I have that he'd do better in a team without s1mple, b1t and b1ad3 as a coach compared to a team featuring s1mple, b1t and b1ad3 as a coach?
sh1ro and ax1le may be good, but sh1ro isn't even remotely in the same league as s1mple when he is actually playing, ax1le is a good rifler, but he doesn't have nearly the same ceiling as b1t did when NaVi were at the top of their game and I genuinely don't get where the hype for this roster was coming from.
To me, this C9 team is a solid low top 10 team and no more, they don't have the players or the coach / IGL to be any better than that.

Really not true, bit outperformed any of ax1le's years played in his rookie year. Doesn't mean he always will, but his ceiling is definitely a lot higher while ax1le seems to have peaked where he is.
huh? What cs are you watching? Prime b1t isn't even comparable to any of ax1le's hltv top 20 years, your view is so slim and close minded if you think just because b1t hit headshot he was better than the likes of ax1le, let alone b1t in 2022 or 2023, who has no consistancy, will do fuckall for 4 games, then 1 out of 5 drop an oldschool performance, and then disappear, and s1mple is good, but after late 2022 when s1mple fell off, he hasn't been on the same level as sh1ro at all, especially not in 2023.
If you don't see the clear upgrade in firepower from old navi to c9 now you are craaazy

And you fail to see that both of them declined as soon as electronic took over the IGL role. What makes you think he will do better here? And what confidence should we have that he will be making C9 work when he couldn't make it work in NaVi?
You can have your opinion if you like. But mine will remain that this C9 roster had no hopes of ever being #1 and they will be mediocre at best.

What makes me think he could make c9 work? Probably that they have the best firepower OAT, pretty big factor idk

So did the French G2, the NiKo FaZe line up after they got rid of karrigan, this current G2 lineup pre Hooxi and so on, and so on, yet those teams were massive failures compared to the play material they had.

bro what?? French G2 were good, but nowhere near as good as the potential of c9, NiKo faze after karrigan is a shit show of rosters with barely any potential, and if you're gonna mention a faze, do it with karrigan and NiKo, which at least won a fair bit.

You must be a special kind of person, I will give you that much. Any team that gets the lable "super team" by the community is 99% certain to not live up to the hype. How do you fail to read something this badly. Has literally nothing to do with this 1 to 1 comparison you seem to be drawing.
French G2, hyped as a super team, didn't live up to the hype.
FaZe post karrigan, more firepower super team, didn't do shit.
This G2 before Hooxi, super team, didn't back it up with anything despite consistent roster changes.
A conceptual comparison is clearly too much for your little peanut to comprehend. xD
Believe me, this C9 will go nowhere at all. They will be relegated to being another failed investment.

French G2 is the only one I'll acredit you, but it found itself at the end of the road for those players when they came together so the timing couldn't be worse,
More like downgrade in firepower trying to replace karrigan with adreN and NEO who were never a firepower upgrade to begin with, and with the cold ittiration coldzera was past his peak, they picked up an FPL player, olof was nowhere near where he used to, and rain was alright, not at his peak ofc, with NiKo IGLing :DD
And again, g2 before hooxi was labeled a superteam by literally nobody, it was more of a throw shit at the wall and hope it sticks, nobody knew what to expect of m0nesy, aleksi was a fairly good IGL, but fragging wise was avg, and jackz was shit, even if m0nesy did well they'd only win a trophy or smthn, and you can hardly consider a team that just about fights for 1 trophy a superteam

To be honest, you can be here arguing with me about this all night. But you will never find me changing my mind on this C9 team being relegated to mediocre at best.
If you are really lucky they will improve a little and make the top 8 of some odd tournament here and there and that's the best I will ever give them as a potential rating.

i was skeptical too, i severely doubted Elecs ability to IGL affter his final months in NAVI
The whole fuck up started with -interz+buster. And keeping groove as your coach was also bad because as we can see he still cannot provide anything usefull when their individual performance is poor.
Now you have one of the best riflers that decided to IGL and as a result got much much worse.

In a sense, you may be right, having Hobbit made sense when they didn't have electronic. But if we are comparing the pre changes to post changes C9 one to one, the difference is really not that huge. They weren't living up to potential before it in most tournaments, and they still aren't with the new line up.

Electronic has been underwhelming individually last 2 years, and I've been warning people about that. Perfecto was never top3 support in my books
