what fluke? They wouldve still been #1 with dupreeh propably but the opportunity to get flamez (a future proof sharp player that suits their roster very well) for free was just too big. Flamez has multiple years on the highest level and hasnt even reached his peak yet, dupreeh on the other hand is not getting any younger..

Because m0nesy was literally the same case and orgs were scared to buy him out for less than he was bought in the end..
The money in orgs aren't great & giving half a mil for a player who played 2 matches in tier1 isn't the biggest "LETS DO THIS" kind of thing..
spirit in the past has always developed and sold players, this argument doesn't make sense

yeah but there are levels to it. my impression of him has always been that he is sometimes Insane, but other times go missing
I just don't see how bringing donk would be a good thing. Why cut donks wings in VP's style of play?
keep donk on spirit and let him farm for a couple of years. If change needs to happen, then -chopper and -magixx and maybe bring in someone like qikert or nafany.
Plenty of talent in russian/ukrainian players to mix and match.
Spirit would never let donk go cheaply. He is one of the most expensive players in the world, valued between $1M-1,5M. VP would have to pay at least $2M to get him alone.
VP had everything in the palm of their hand. Even without Perfecto+electronic signing. interz and s1ren were clear upgrades for norbert and qikert, yet VP missed on them

why would donk downgrade
donk needs to stay as far away from those cowardly savers as humanly possible. VP is the single most annoying, anti-fun team in the entire CS pro scene. Watching their matches sucks the life out of people. donk needs to stay with spirit or go international, and VP, with its utter turd of a playstyle needs to disappear from the face of the Earth.
