Would broky make it to the HLTV top 20 list this year? He had a really rough last 3 months. Ofc his team is in a slump, so that's a factor, but I would rather see someone else in his spot. There are so many talented AWPers on the market. An obvious one would be degster for me. Another one is w0nderful, since he was playing the passive, clutch AWPer style on Spirit (I haven't watched him since), just like broky does. Regali is another worthy mention. I know these are massive risks but I don't like watching teams slowly fade away, because they were too afraid to make a roster change. And I think that is what's happening to FaZe. We know that they aren't just suddenly going to go back to form, sooner or later they will make roster changes.

ain't no way faze is benching anyone and paying another salary to assume that spot. especially because of some 20 maps or so - his numbers have been pretty stable otherwise. and from their comms videos, broky always sounds like one of their most involved players. hard to trust another player will seamlessly replace that (especially one with so many question marks, like degster). honestly, it looks like karrigan is the guy calling all the shots for faze's roster right now (or at least the strongest voice). I doubt he's eager to make a change like that. I can only see them changing if someone jumps off the ship.

Yeah but inside and outside the game is a whole different thing. You can like someone personally and not like him professionally especially in sports where styles of play can clash

you are right, broky is the one who is doing a lot of mid round calls and is very involved but just like in any team, also ropz can make a call if he has a succesfull lurk and stuff

i cant recall but im pretty sure broky didnt do much for winning slam and major , i can remember wrong but i think rain and karrigan had a good run there

Broky got an MVP for KATO and shut down M0nesy who was also on track for an MVP at that tournament. He played anti-S1mple perfectly at the Major, had a lot of impact at cologne, and was still putting up numbers until they won the grand slam. Everyone but Ropz has been in a slump since they won.

Nah I don't think he will make it to top 20 unless he plays really good for the rest of the year. I also don't think replacing him will make faze any better right now (unless it's zywoo). As someone else said he's a pretty vocal player in the team, and w0nderful (for example) doesn't really fit that on top of being a risk even if he is good.

He had good stats before summer break and thats what hltv is looking at the most while making the list. He will probably be around top 15-18 unless he keeps underperforming so much. I agree that replacing him would be good on paper if faze had money.
