If i was the King of Counter-Strike, i would instantly decree an Absolute Universal Ban on all skins with immediate effect and work with all governments that are willing to cooperate to persecute all gambling websites that ever included any counter-strike bets in it until i drove the whole thing to the ground.

Thats because the developers behind promod used their time on the wrong stuff. They wanted to introduce skins for different weapons and was in the progress. Then cs:go came out and it had skins, just like promod had inteded to do it. So suddenly the small developer focus was all on trying to sue Valve instead of completing the game. Everything went to a halt, they didn't get anything out of it and cs:go was already miles ahead at that point.

I feel odd one out when ppl say csgo is smooth, I'm like ?? csgo feels heavy and sluggish compared to 1.6 which feels so crisp
I want to try out cs2 and see if it's better, but from what I saw it's even worse, especially when you bump into players it's like you're both a box covered in glue

I mean, at that time the tech. was awful, so of course it took years to make the game playable, but in 2023 the tech. has developed more than 1000% and the new game is still as garbage as csgo was in 2012

What is that even supposed to mean? What 'tech' was awful in 2012 that is so much better now? Because from a technical point CS2 is objectively better than GO, it's just not as polished
People are mostly just complaining that the game on a new engine doesn't feel exactly like the old one because they're not used to it
It was the same with GO when it was released and even today GO doesn't feel like 1.6 because it was never supposed to be and still most people call it the peak CS game of all time
Some people are just so unwilling to adapt to changes its insane
The only thing that deserves real criticism is Valve forcing 64 tick servers with a crowbar and I really hope they don't intend to keep it like that

CS 1.6 was perfect game ; on amateur level & proffesional
CS:GO was very good game 2013-2016/17 ; enjoyable, playable & competitive . nowadays its not that interesting

Of course thats the same thing, in late 1.6 days, we had a game that was working well, or at least that we all got used to, so when we saw how bad csgo compared to 1.6 at the start, we all were doubtful and didnt want to play a game that was worse than the original. Then gradually, csgo became better and better, but it took years for that.
Now we have a well polished game in csgo, and cs2 is the new one that will take over. It's very far from being ready, will take months/year to be, but they already want to implement it now and remove csgo, meaning we will have to settle for a mediocre game until time does it's thing. Doesnt soung appealing to me
If you stay in your room and not go to school and only play cs ,people get brain damaged. CS2 will be better in the future then CSGO is.
