bro, if you want top players you gotta pay, prices are inflated as fuck for most teams (even for players in ones that have less than 5% chance of wining like movistar) but if you get zywoo+nertz you shouldn't be able to get 3 more decent players, at the very least you should have 2 risky trashy picks which aside from hooxi as a somewhat "decent" option, there aren't really other good options for less than 190. You either play with a balanced "okay" level roster (with players like maden, dycha, jks) or risk doing 1-2 bad players to try and pick a good superstar to maybe carry your fantasy, either way with the current prices, any possible team comp is pretty bad and super luck dependant on bad-mediocre players having the play-off of their life.

Yes. That's what I am saying, it's either gonna be ppl with two vita + ence and bronzes, or people who go for someone who will manage to go far since round 1. I was also thinking of somebody to respond with a suggested roster they are going for, rather than to lecture me about things I already am aware of. Thanks for the effort, though.

Also referring to you being that Polish kid who once tried to convince me that fantasy ain't about luck, but rather about 'thorough analysis' and 'knowing the scene' while having 4/5 players the same as me with the only exception of kscerato, lmao. Xantares is like 20k too much, same with elige, he's like 7-8k too much. Meanwhile nertz is 215k which is probably 5-7k too little.

I think it has something to do with the fact that those earlier stages players will be able to get more points than the main super stars after their 6 points paddes..

not if they lose to the super stars. Finalist teams get 1.5x points in the final because it's a BO5. You don't want to go with double round 1 runners if you want to play safe. VP would have to win against ENCE, G2/FAZE/MOUZ/FURIA and Astralis would have to win against NAVI/VITALITY to get that 1.5x bonus in the end. This is a hit or miss. Yes, you can farm the early stage teams but if you don't win against the better teams it won't be worth it because of the 1.5x bonus at the finals

They still have to beat the main teams for that to happen. Say an Astralis or Mouz get to the quarter finals then lose to NaVi and G2 respectively. They still only play 3 matches then get -3 for each of the last 2 rounds. Contrast that to the G2-NaVi final. Both of the get 2 rounds of +6, then 3 matches each. 18 points better off per player before they start playing a single match. Don't just automatically pick the early starters because 'more matches' unless you think they are going to at least make it to the semis, or will score so highly that it would overcome that difference in padding.

I am not saying EF are making to the finals, I am saying that the system might account that in just in case they do make it. If EF makes it to the finals, they get to play 5 matches whereas if G2 makes it to the finals, they get to play 3 matches.

Not really. It's +6 team points for a match win and -3 for a loss normally, so it just simulates that.

XANTARES price was calculated automatically and is like that due to his enormous rating. Normally I would lower it, but I wasn't able to adjust any of EF's player prices since they were added when the game was already on.
