The problem with G2 is they achieved nothing at all outside of that Kato & Cologne, not even a single final appearance and only semis appearance was in a 8 team Blast tournament.

There are people who think katowice+cologne>major+rio+g8 And I can understand their view even though I dont agree with them at G2 being top 1 this year since they have so many disappointing results to be top1 in 2023. What I try to imply here is,vitality cant have an era without being uncontested top1,this french guy is delusional for thinking that.

Guess what those people are dumb. How is katowice and majors with 0 open qualifiers is greater than majors. Even the top teams can't even qualify for majors.

debatable So many people would see G2 more succesful since they won kato+cologne,and no I think Vitality are top1 this year.What I try to mean here is they arent undisputed number 1,you cant claim they are having an era without being uncontested top1.(which op does claim.)

that is not debatable at all... vitality won iem rio, g8 and major, finished 2nd in blast and 3/4 cologne. they advanced to play off in every single big event g2 won katowice and cologne(great achievment, no doubt...) and 3/4 g8 and blast and they failed in major and pro league 17 era is obviously nonsense but they are absolutely top1 team this year overall so far

people want a legacy implemented. When in reality, CS is never going to have another era. Astralis will be the last era CS will ever have since they basically established the permanent meta which took years for everyone else to catch up. Nowadays, it's impossible for an era to occur due to the entire scene being competitive, even tier 2 teams can give "tier 1" a run for their money.
