Remeber to do the best with what you have, even though xyp and gla1ve have peaked. They still got alot ahead of them.

gla1ve at least still has use for the future by being a coach or analyst. Xyp9x is worthless on the other hand.

other way around mate. Glaive only new how to use his one group of people, Xyp on the other hand knows the game way better than glaive and could actually be the games best analyst ever, and that is just a fact, xyp aim was never amazing, his driving facter was just that, that he knew the game better than everyone else, even better than the best igls in karri and glai

i've said many times that glaive is the type of person who was handed the keys to the race car and found that he was very good at driving it. however he never had the knowledge how to construct it himself.

I believe gla1ve will keep playing, maybe he will get some nice offer, if not I think he will try Tier2 or something, and Xyp9x I doubt will comeback to playing, probably work a normal job, I think he has pretty high education, I believe I've heard about that, but I'm not 100% sure.

and how do you expect gla1ve's outdated ass to be able to do anything at this point? Back then, he was light years ahead of everyone else. But fast forward a few years later, every team whether tier 1 or 2 from wherever they came from has finally caught up and he's nothing now.

I'm 100% sure there will be a team willing to give him a chance, he has good for mind for the game, he has the experience, I'm not saying he will get an offer from a team like Vita or anything like that, I'm talking a step or 2 steps behind, teams like coL or Apeks (not saying them specifically but this sort of level)
2023-09-26 16:40
Xyp actually said a week ago on danish dust2 that he believes that he still got something left. And it actually was his own choice to join and help astr talent not the orgs decision

Yeah I've heard that he wanted to play for the academy, but honestly, he didn't look good at all there, in fact I think they benched him because he wasn't good enough, I might be wrong, but that's not optimistic for the future.

im optimistic tho, because he also said that he where more ready than ever to comeback to the scene, and who knows, maybe he is right

maybe, but I'm not full of optimism like you, it would be cool to see him return, but yeah, as I said I don't have high hopes, I will be happy if he proves me wrong tho.

They could both be back on top of their game if they dedicated their time to it. Success can be lifelong, but sometimes life gets in the way.

Exactly and especially after gla1ve had a family he stated that he is giving less time to the game.
2023-09-26 17:45
Xyp9x top player since beginning of csgo and gla1ve had the best team in the woeld for 4 years. Temporary success lol

Probably got just about enough money to live comfortably for the rest of their lives without working. At least if they have invested the money in a smart way.
2023-09-26 16:38
Work in Danish TV like Bubzkji, maybe?
2023-09-26 16:44
Time waits for no one, unfortunately they couldn't hang up with current times (as players) but I could see them coaching). Stop living in the past, it's time to move on. Soon it's been 6 years since 2018, I hope you too have developed in that time
2023-09-26 16:50
temporary? what? They are at the end of their career now, guess what? Everyone knew, even themselves that the day will come lol. I can asure you, they will have no problems at all to stay in CS. Gla1ve will probaly become a coach Xyp could do, or maybe become a talent at the analyst desk or something. Which his knowledge i can imagine that very well.
2023-09-26 16:53
They receive too much hate from the community, 2 of the most impactful players ever to touch counter strike in their own way, and have achieved only what other pros can only dream of. Either one of them could have a career as a coach, player, or analyst for a team or on the studio table if they wanted and who tf isn't going to hire them if the two of them apply anywhere counter-strike related? I hope they do stick around in the CS scene for as long as possible personally
2023-09-26 16:59
what will they do with the rest of their lives? Look at their bank account and laugh about albanian hardstuck lvl 7's like you I guess.

Both still have a lot to give and tbh they are not as old as you would think. For DK lineup they should pick up Fessor, Mertz / Farlig + a youngster with talent.

i think they can live good life without doing anything if they were smart and invested money they earned escharts.com/players?game=csgo
2023-09-26 17:15
if they have no business sense they can just become landlords and live a comfortable life without ever having to "work" again.
2023-09-26 17:23
Enjoying their millions they made during their prime, while gla1ve will probably make some more in future.
2023-09-26 17:25
both wanna take a break now they get it
2023-09-26 21:33
I think they should either set up or get picked up by a 'talent pipeline' type of team similar to CPH Flames so they can bring up the next generation of talent. Get some use out of their experience and know-how even though their mechanics are declining
2023-09-27 04:33
"temporary success" Bro they were relevant since the first days of csgo.

Look at what they accomplished, though. They're fallen legends of the game to be remembered forever in CS:GO, it's not like theyre ruining their careers, they're just clinging onto it.

gla1ve and xyp are very smart guys and finding new stuff after CS is not an issue also I believe gla1ve at least will still play, a break is surely deserved and needed first :)
