I was talking about playing from home, because lan cafes aren't as prevalent here as in eu. Iirc a ton of pros started playing because they had a older brother that played (Monesy, KennyS, etc or got hurt playing soccer. I was mainly talking about the current generation of players that are mainly playing go rn, but might have play 1.6 as a kid.

super mario world - pinnacle of 2d platformer goldeneye - basically your own mini 4 player lan, single player was godlike for the time pokemon red - basic RPG but pokemon was the nuts when this came out CS 1.6 - goated FPS mario kart wii - love most MK but this is the best for me, also Diddy kong racing is gdlk resident evil - love the series but playing the OG on PC was amazing at the time Street Fighter 4 - Revived the fighting genre and first time you could play online . SF2 A1 too
