you will probably have the option to opt-in in Beta Participation to keep CSGO available if the need may be, they're already doing it for playing pre-patch 2013/1/9 for demos and will also do it for CS2

valve has been constantly pushing updates to a depot folder all throughout the day and evening, suggesting a massive update is on the way, also they changed their twitter banner to 'DAWN OF THE FINAL DAY" or something so that pretty much confirms it on its own
