yeah its a very weird game honestly, i do like it but when i play csgo and then cs2 after it just feels worse, the shooting is very weird and i play much worse in cs2. But ig we just have to get used to it, and hopefully they might improve the lag issues that some people are having when they release it, although my fps is fine in cs2 Also they have to add some of the commands that are missing from cs2, like we cant change viewmodel or cl bob or anything, its so dumb

there are just too many things to fix in my opinion. slight sound improvements shooting/animation delay 128 tick/make subtick on par with 128tick weird interaction with objects/players, e.g - bumping into other players is awful, sometimes you pass through them, sometimes you're getting stuck, sometimes it weirdly moves you. breaking objects in the game, for example when you knife the half window on mirage, there is sometimes some 'lag', breaking the window with a knife if you move sometimes not working. I can't don't think these issues belong in a competitive game, sure they will eventually fix it but it's just too soon. and if someone is going to come up with that stupid 'look at how csgo was 10 years ago' argument, just don't it's a stupid argument.

yeah exactly, although that argument is sort of fair since the game is brand new and took only 3 years to make, it still shoulve been more polished by now

it's fine that it's not ready, take 2-3 months to fix at least some of these issues then release it, I really don't understand what's the rush and why cancel the second major of the year. release it as an open beta now, work out the issues, on the next winter break just release cs2...

You guys all need to calm down. The things you are complaining about will be fixed, even faster than before it was out. It might "suck ass" right now, even though I do not think so myself, but in a few weeks it will be better and in a few months it is gonna be way better and people won't care about how it was in the first few days

It will be like a beta branch. You won't be able to join any servers (only specific ones) on that kind of version of the game

because the best way to balance and improve matchmaking is to get as many players as possible. Keeping csgo around means splitting the community and getting much less players to play cs2 actively.

Why no one is mentioning skins? I think it's biggest thing, they can't keep inventory in CS GO and CS2 at the same time, because it could cause problems or exploits. One solution could be somehow blocking/deleting inventory from GO, but IDK how costly it would be to implement now. Also CS2 is still more of a update to CS GO than different game. IMO it could be named just Counter Strike and get updates for years, CS is more of a platform/service now than standalone game like 1.6/CSS were anyway.

I feel with you. Its a long time and a big part of our life. I watched and played csgo today. Its important to have a dedicated sent off. mourning is important for the mens souls. csgo will always be a part of cs history. life goes on! cs2 might become even better.

Sad to see it cs:go (see what I did there) Spent 2300+ hours in this game, made multiple friends who I've played with for years. Very sad. However, cs2 will also be nice I guess.
