there's no rank reset afaik, you'll lose the Premier rank tho, because that one is seasonal and rn it's a Beta Season.

It won't start from zero I am pretty sure. If they don't take beta elo in consideration, they will prob at least take cs go rank into consideration. Most likely placements will be needed to play, but I doubt they will make everyone start from zero and throw silvers and globals together.

Yeah but in beta I don't think that you started from zero, they at least took CS GO rank into some consideration to not throw you with much worse/better players, unless you have new account without MM history. But TBH who knows how Valve calculate elo/rankings? Because they never said anything about logic they use.
