am i the only one who liked this full release cs2?
i actual had a little more than 30 fps than the limited test and further the game feels a little crisp on my machine as well. hopping onto my 4th premier game and shit is running smooth only issue is double zoom on awp feels tough to connect shots
cs2 full release is looking good to me, but i talked about in on this forum saying "+rep valve" and got a very negative response, people thought i was baiting
feels kinda weird, are there any cs2 enjoyers out there?

the spray and movement is so much worse gunplay just feels weird

movement feels sluggish, good counterstrafing seems less important (feels like you stop sliding way faster even without counterstrafing and you can shoot with full accuracy while still on the slide), easy to hit hs especially with deagle and missing need to counterstrafe properly, better accuracy while running, spray still feels off
Only thing dividing the community 50/50 are the players who play for competition only (elo) and players who play to enjoy "gaming" (casuals). I wouldn't personally play the game at all if they ruin the competetive aspects of the game meaning - elo system or the game mechanics. i have 6k hours and reached 3k elo and i have 0 intrest playing right now because there is no elo value in faceit or premier right now. + getting fuckd by players who i normally smurf against wont make me very motivated to play :DDD

deathmatch for example feels sooo bad. i have a 240 monitor but whenever i play a DM it feels like its 75 hz. Premier and everything else it always feels fine. Smoking a molly drops my frames by literally like 150 but never had an issue in the beta. Inputs felt fine outside of a few plays during the beta but full release it felt like i was clicking, then a full 1/2 second later the action was actually registering in some cases. Can't be internet because i'm on fiber averaging 10-15 ping but just gonna have to play more to test it

my frames dont even dip that much, it just feels like the game forgets its supposed to be at 240hz. Other than that game actually runs very smooth to me

I don't mean in general! Especially after CS2 has just replaced the CSGO in its place.. I meant for now, if there's any chance of getting one, like commemorating the moment or something, it's a big switch. Or maybe there's an operation coming up next soon, this I'd like to know

honestly i don't like it, headshots feel crisp but spray feels like hot garbage and I for some reason cannot play native resolution, its not a bad game, but its definitely not finished, so imo they should have kept csgo servers live and actually finished making the game

new cs2 is horrible to play, cant play at all. im just waiting to csgo coming back to play and i play it :D
I think you might be the only enjoyer, yes.
after 60 games of premier during the test I can proudly say that cs2 is garbage the sub-tick really ruined my in game performances from top fragging every game in csgo to inconsistently placing last / third on the learderboard and im not even playing against good players I tried faceit cs2 its way better so that's what i am gonna be playing for the time being

I have a potato laptop to play.
I had ~180fps on go and now I have 80-120 with big drops of frames.
The forts 20 seconds on each maps are very laggy because the game has to charge all the map I guess.
So I have to play on full and it’s very very ugly to play.
Nevertheless, when I’m at 120fps with no lag it feels good and I can still put some hs.
I think it just time for me to invest in a good pc or just to stop playing CS

Very bad game, spraying feels off, headshots are not satisfying at all, movement is kinda ok except for bunnyhopping, grenades are so fucking slow I could run around the map 4 times before it lands, awp is like valolrant, subtick is the same shit as 64 tick, expected much more
valve just needs the add missing console commands and i am fine. thats my only complaint so far, except for that the game is fine and the undeserved hatred to it is getting annoying.

Tried to play for 10 mins and I pretty much enjoyed it actually. Though I don't plan to play, so already uninstalled. :D

dm still feels ass but in mm shooting got alot better and im actually able to hit my sprays again
I had opened a thread here about that I cant adapt to cs2 but now the game feels much better idk maybe they fixed something I cant explain but it feels much better now, like smoother and the aiming is now kinda the same like in csgo, finally I can hit someone with headshots.

Yeah it feels more accurate and it's easier to hit hs, but that fuck up people with higher ping, in csgo u could face 10 ping people having 70-80 and it was possible. Now is not.
Wanna know a secret? Most people who play CS are conditioned to believe ANY change is bad because the game is changed so little over time. It led to the community being the most overly bitchy and whiny outside of League when anything remotely different comes out. That coupled with the rose colored glasses 1.6 gets (I played it quite a lot and loved it, but it simply is a worse game than most people seem to remember) has led to people just hating on anything new because they think they are supposed to.
With that being said CS2 is good, I'm enjoying it so far. A couple small kinks but nothing as extreme as people seem to be tricking themselves into truly believing.

Yesterday was the 1st time I played this new cs, and man wtf this is just too different from GO.

spraying doesn't really feel different at all imo. I just hope they keep improving performance and replace FSR 1 with FSR 2 so literally anybody can play the game. The only other issues are the clipping issues when running up against another player and the grenades feeling weird when you throw them. I've seen some weird stuff because of the sub-tick system but I think it just more accurately reflects who landed their shot faster, I do think having high ping on CS2 is a lot worse than CS:GO because of this however. The movement is better than it was at first but I think it will be tweaked more in coming updates.

Subtick should mean you hit more shots, just die more often in bs ways I.e. behind walls. Thought what you've said does sound like packet loss. How do you know it's not your internet connection?

I was merely asking how you knew it wasn't your internet connection. Your friends experiencing similar things does not mean you are experiencing exactly the same thing. Again, without mentioning your friends, how do you know it is not your internet connection?
Subtick doesn't work. Valve have clearly tested it in a LAN setting and gone "hey, it works great. Let's do it!" and forgotten than people play online where it just doesn't fucking work. They need to admit their mistake and go back to a normal 64 (or better, 128) tick system. If they have balls they will do it, if they don't, they have a very small penis. None of the devs actually play CS, otherwise they wouldn't have let this shite out.

How do you know that the netcode is bad? You are valve employee? I am going on what information I have. If you have more information please share, otherwise you can kindly fuck off.

I'm a video game programmer by trade that specializes in network programming. I can't speak in detail on the netcode because I don't work for Valve, but I recognize a lot of the issues I'm having in CS2 from working on projects through my work. The biggest issue I experience is delay, which is most likely a server performance issue, and unfair peekers advantage, which is (I would assume) an issue with the design of the netcode.
One thing I can say for sure tough is that "subtick" is not a new concept, nor related to the tickrate of the server.

Genuinely switching to rocket league until they remove subtick. Only way that valve will realise that they have fucked up their game and need to make a drastic improvement is if people stop playing it.

But...it's a bad game? The whole appeal of CS is the feeling of the shooting which they have completely destroyed with their half brained subtick system.
HS is far more better than CSGO, but sub-tick right now doesn't work correctly, you will get CSGO'd sometimes. The spray is slightly different from CSGO, It's feel heavier, especially AK. Now I'm getting used with the new movement, It does feel light like CSGO but it's not bad after all. I think it's great, but they need to complete everything still missing from CSGO tho.
i played my first game today, i was a bit drunk but literally won 13-0 with a 11-0 kd pistol headshots feel super easy but spraying and moviment were weird as hell to what i was able to notice
I haven't played it but it looks good and playable, not the end of the franchise as many are saying that's for sure
Played some premier matches, got placed with bots. So i didn't enjoyed the experience. Tried some normal mm, it's even worse since there is no rank.
I will wait some time before i touch it again tbh.
it feels more smooth after release but idk why it is lagging for me when there is a lot of smokes didnt happen in testing so idk why
my only gripe is the ferrari peeks, i feel at a huge disadvantage if i dont peek first
otherwise its a good game
