I have windows 10, I downloaded the whole game from steam, when I click Play in steam it changes to Running, then suddenly stop doing it and the Play button show again. No errors are thrown any ideas?

Right click CS2 in your library, click on properties, and then in the general tab there should be a section called launch options Maybe you have some leftover ones from csgo and it's fucking with the CS2 startup
