Honestly I don’t get the amount of people saying that if you have low fps in cs2 you just have a potato pc and need to upgrade.
There are so many people complaining even with better hardware. I guess we just have to wait for better optimisation

Yeah I was on a budget while building my pc in December 2022, the plan was/is just upgrading to the i5-13600k in a few weeks. Also the 13th i3 was almost double the performance of my old i7-7700k so I was very happy anyway

upgrade the cpu, you shouldnt have any issues with the game afterwards,
me and my friend have similar builds except the cpu
he's on 5700x while im on 2600
his fps 300 on avg mine 160 on avg

current i3 is more than enough for CS. No reason to get i5 or higher unless you need it for workstation purposes. Stop giving PC advice from 2012.

Gigachad gtx 1060, this shit trucking along for me aswell. Maybe some maps i lag, but mostly over 100 fps. fairly often 150fps

game runs at literally 300 fps while battlebit remastered runs at 150 lol
I have decent FPS on some maps now but absolute garbage FPS on others. I don't know whats going on, I get consistent 200 fps on Nuke but Inferno can go from 200 to below 100 in matter of seconds while running up mid. This game is so poorly optimized it's insane and Valve are "known" for good optimization. I don't know what we're waiting for to be completely honest if this game was published like this.

Not everybdoy has the funds to spend +1k on a new gaming pc - especially when you already have some other expensive hobbies. That's okay. The problem however is, that CS2 is a replacement instead of a new option to CS:GO players.

I was just chatting with a friend who is playing on his old pc using dd3 ...of all things (imagine the situation) and he is passing 100 fps with 1060 card, while the obvious bottleneck is his CPU. But the main point, he can play ok for his understanding. So idk what else people expect from day2 new game, to play well on laptops??
My Compaq Presario is doing fine, about 190-200fps smooth

The freezing and stutters is making it UNPLAYABLE in latam servers (or in this case, i think we're being transfered to BR servers), but yeah it really sucks, it's like when you have 400 ping and you don't even move
