wdym, it has everything to do with dialogues, if it doesn't matter what option you choose then why have options at all? and given that a lot of quests are just - go there and talk to that guy, it makes me not care about any of those characters. example: judy questline - going to clouds to talk to her ex, no matter how hard you try to convince her to join or if you completely fuck it up, she still joins you in the next mission. and if you want to know what her deal is - the dialogues gives you nothing, the max you get is the emails on her pc. btw the fact that so much of the the world building is hidden in data shards and neverending chat logs is quite disappointing as well.
it's true that witcher 3 isnt the best rp game, but you don't play as yourself either, you play as a character who's been in multiple books, so there's just not much room to roleplay, yet you still CAN do it. meanwhile 2077 devs said theyre making it first person for better immersion, they let you design your character, let you choose their backstory, and for what? it just disappointing.
anyways i've been having these debates for almost 3 years now, don't think any minds were changed in the end, ,this is pointless, at least im enjoying what they've made of the game now
