Also in the future maybe there will be better vulkan API support, rn i technically get better framerate with it but it freezes like crazy but no doubt valve will work on it else why even add vulkan support but yeah that shit is made for AMD gpus (for reference, activate by putting -vulkan in launch options)

keep hdr on quality as well as it introduces grain to your image, it looks like you're playing on a fucking jpeg filter (valve doesn't understand what hdr actually means)

-dont play high res -dont make the game look like 2004 its 2023 man. at some point you should consider switching to high res. its absolutely playable (ask ropz) so dont come at me "mimimi all pros play on 1024x768". but as long as you wish enjoy your blackbars or stretched view.

Whats your point. Csgo textures in low res looked better than cs2.

Thanks everyone! 1152x864 atm but looking fine thanks to all the tips. Colors still look a bit wrong, even though i lowered contrast to remove the excessive brigthness, but will keep tweaking it. Game feels a bit choppy though, especially when you kill or get killed.
