i hope he comes back. he is a very good person but drinking alcohol brings the worst of you (i know it myself). in his heart he's a sweetheart and i think all of his colleagues know it. when i drink i become a degenerate fuck, and thats the same for him - he can't control it, but that should never be an excuse.
i hope he gets another chance. he is without a doubt THE best caster cs has ever seen. i hope so much he gets another chance but in these days, with this shitty ass cancel culture, it looks dire.
what i see is - the only way to him come back is if he goes to rehab or some shit like that. but as i've seen he doesn't show a desire to go back to casting. i hope he does well. he also lost his dog which is a family member i hope he isn't rn in a bad spot.

Alcohol doesn't bring the worst if you, it lets your inner spirit be free from the clutches of your ego, so if you're a violent when you're drunk, you're a violent person in general but the ego keeps it in check.

'The worst of you' has to already exist for alcohol to bring it out. If alcohol makes you behave like that when you otherwise wouldn't then you have serious, deep issues, whether you're conscious of that or not.
So if that's the case I hope he gets the help he needs because it could change his life incredibly.
Sadokist's issues are definitely amplified by drinking, but I wouldn't say he's a "very good person" based on things I've seen him say/do predating his increased profile in casting (back when he was coming up as a caster).
I generally try not to have a strong opinion of people and give them a chance, and I judged at one point that I could've been unfair in my assessment of his character, but he's since shown 2 examples of proving my assumptions to be at least credible.
I don't know the guy in real life. I could be completely wrong, but I've learned to trust my judgement of these things because over the years I've almost never guessed wrong.
