Time to snag Karrigan for 6 month era

They don't have the talent to carry Karrigan. Maybe he'll join and they'll swap out 3 players and they can get a grand slam, but it will be his IGL ability and bottom fragging that did all the work right?

unlucky game, no need for changes really

m0nesy had 18 kills on mirage ct side, and 0 kills on t side. jks was highest rated player over the whole bo3. not to take anything away from him, but he isn't supposed to be the top fragger. where was niko, where was hunter? where was m0nesy in the later parts of the game? I didn't watch all of it, but it seems like a stretch to call it unlucky

Does there need to be excuses? Both teams gave it their all.

the team is built to win, not to finish 5th-8th. it can't be enough for them.

Obviously. All teams try to win but that doesn't mean they need to make excuses when they lose. G2 will still be a Top 5 team after the result, Vitality still Top 1-2, etc...

all teams try to win, but G2 have the funds to buy out niko and m0nesy. I would be pretty pissed if I throw away a couple of million to get 5th-8th. or worse, 12-14th at the major...

So would I but I would also blame myself as opposed to justifying a loss. On that third map, G2 made tons of mistakes that MOUZ capitalised on.

yeah. they have 4 excellent players, and hooxi, who igls, and they've got coaches and performance coaches and whatnot, and mouz has 4 former academy dudes and frozen. there's no way g2 should lose. they've been together for over a year now. everything should be ironed out by now. something has to change.

Agreed but they definitely won't change yet. They've had the most success with HooXi in 5 years bar the Major grand-final appearance + CS2 is now the new game to grind.

if they change, they risk struggling to find form and structure. if they don't change, they risk being mediocre in cs2 too. if they fall behind, they could fall behind hard.

That's the risk G2 will probably take.

The truth is, CSGO went on for too long and most teams are on equal footing

I'm noticing a pattern but it fits, they show absolutely nothing if they're getting shit on, really makes sense given how they play though. They don't even have the balls to show the ends of the maps they lose
2023-09-30 02:30
they played bad and mouz was better. how about that?
