After being played as beta by a small group of people, this game, on a new engine with new graphics and features is expected to be pure quality from minute one. Suddenly players think CSGO was the real deal when just a year ago these same players complained about CSGO having bad mmr system, 64 tick, lack of map revamps. Its like a comedy show :D

ikr. I do think Valve could've waited longer for release though, it's rough around the edges right now. I personally wouldn't of cared if I had to wait longer. (Maybe just because I had the beta since it came out though :p)

Funny how it's the same. Cs 1.6 is a complete garbage compared to csgo. CS2 is basically upgraded csgo, they just need to fix what's not working and the game will be perfect.

one is beta from 2012 with guys called hidden path other one is graphical update which fucked up core mechanics of the game from a multibillion dollar company

The point isn't about who made it, the point is both games launched in rough states and everyone acts like it's the end of the world. I do agree Valve should've waited and kept working before release but regardless it doesn't deserve the hell some HLTV users give it.

I need to reply again, but in detail. So, since the cs2 beta launched, the game improved so much, they fixed so much. There's a lot of things developers can adjust and fix JUST with time and enough analysis from a lot of players, so of course it's shit now. Another thing is that they have SOURCE 2 engine now, so I believe the game is going to be completely fixed by 2 months from now. The only thing I don't like are the new smokes, because it changed one of the most important game mechanics and potential of outplay, BUT we can all adjust and it will still be the most fair and skill-dependent game that exists on the market.

I agree with you, minus the smokes - I think they're cool and add depth to strategy. One form of outplaying (via one ways) with another (breaking up smokes and/or forcing the enemy to waste HEs).

But man, all the "he's inside a smoke" outplays will disappear, ninja defuses will disappear. I mean in cs2 imagine the defusing guy is in the smoke and the terrorist just needs to shoot in his direction and sees him. I will miss the old smokes so so much ;(
