if you were close with the score and the guy left and one vote for surrender this is a minus it automatically accepts it.

Almost never is the score close or is the final result a win for a 4v5. This vote is a godsend for soloq players, no more getting stuck with a trolling/throwing team.

somewhat true but there should be conditioning - one player muted/reported and one left or the one muted/reported and then during vote you can checkbox the griefing part with his nickname which makes him have ban or smth for few days.

haven't encountered this yet but something weird happened to one of my games yesterday, the scoreboard was clearly displaying there was 10 secs left but the round ended before that and we won it since the Ts didn't plant, but how is that even a thing ?

I guess its because in CSGO often if there was a surrender vote, whoever voted yes, but it didn't go through would often either troll or just go afk anyway

surrender vote doesnt even work for me. started a game 4v5 and we ff vote round 1, all 4 vote yes and nothing happens lol. something even weirder with the surrender vote is that you can change your vote and spam yes/no

if you vote off a player you cant surrender, at least that was how it was in csgo

I know but game started 4v5. no one was kicked, the guy left in the vote for map stage but game started anyway

It's ridiculous. I'd understand it if it was three out of four f1 votes needed but even two is too low, I don't understand how they've figured 1 would be enough.

So valve improves something and you complain. I had so many games where 1 idiots leaves and im stuck in a useless match for 20min just because one presses F2. This command is so good for solo players. Ps: i find it hard that you were winning after the guy left. If you were he guy wouldnt disconnect.

We were 100% winning that game, I assure you. If someone abandons you should have the right to disconnect without a penalty then, don't force everyone else to surrender if they don't want to

I've been in winning 4v5's before several times, classic games! But never have I been in a winning 4v5 where there was a vote to surrender called. Could be chance but I think it's probably because those games became a 3v5 at best. I do agree that one person voting to end a game isn't fair, perhaps a better approach from Valve would be to allow players to leave without penalty when someone abandons. Then you could've attempted your 3v5 and the other guy didn't have to sit through a challenge he didn't sign up for.

Fun fact: your team can not win a surrender vote after you kicked a player. 4/4 will not be enough.
